Conversations - chit chat -

Seems we have lost the art of conversation.... Have you sat down recently, coffee in hand at a little coffee house? What do you see? People bent on their phones, tapping away instead of enjoying the smell of freshly baked bread, or the smell of freshly brewed coffee? People do not even have a conversation with the person they are sharing the table with!

Gone are the days....

Indeed, gone are the days of pen and paper. Gone are those of conversation at the dinner table. Gone are the days of children playing in the streets. Life has changed. For better or for worse, we shalt soon see.

When I take any of my family out, I request all cell phones on the table and the first one to take their phone gets the bill instead of me. I always pay.

And Covid has made is worse too. Went to the coffee shop I frequent yesterday. I was the only one sitting inside. Everyone favors the drive-thru now. Sad.

You mean like the man you talk to who tunes you out watching TV. And then gets ticked because you are hanging on his every word when he has been babbling on the same think for ten minutes?rolling on the floor laughing frustrated sigh
