Vanishing Blogs
I notice some blogs, are prone to being deleted, here, without notice. What are your thoughts on this? Is the famous "Freedom of Speech", (of which Americans are so mightily proud); in real danger? Please discuss in the broader context of wider American society. Is this a sign of the times, that we are living in? Is America, inevitably, veering closer to China, in this respect?
The right to Free Speech, is more important, than the content of the speech.
- Voltaire
(Voltaire, by the way, was estimated to have an IQ of 190, and I'm willing to BET that nobody here, does (myself included). Therefore, having said that, maybe (just maybe), we should listen to, and study Voltaire?)

Some of my blogs about an ex-president and his legal woes have disappeared into the night.
Remember, we are only 'guests' here so the general definition of 'Freedom of Speech' doesn't apply.

It's all private property and it's not the land, so what's the law of the land? Nothing. This industrial revolution comes with it's own ways which supercede the law of the land and the very idea of a government accountable to the public. Things that happen now just happen to us, like every industrial revolution that came before, it'll be decades until the human race understands what's happening to it with a governing class competent to govern. We go back to the days of Oliver Twist and Scrooge, everything is private and more than this it's beyond the comprehension of the average person. The state is now effectively privately owned and the new world understood by almost no one.
And we're going to love this next bit. People who belong with an abacus trying to regulate cyberspace. A great new field of sheep trying to use an iPhone, a situation where anybody in authority with a shred of intelligence or integrity would resign knowing that they're a sheep trying to use an iPhone.
