whats the purpose of international dating site?

my second year anniversary will be on august 30..that time i dnt have any idea of what dating site is all about,..so i met few guys on here and had a bf 4 a year then broke off and had another one 4 three mos i guess...its not that bad..its not that i dnt blv anymore..its just that some people keep telling oh u better find someone near ur place or what are u doing in a dating site like this when u cn find someone at ur place...with this i am thinking...id really love 2 have a boyfrnd...but how come i cnt find anyone near me?do i have to worry?is joining dating sites mean a person must b some kind of a junk..actually when i broke off with my exes i joined myself 2 other sites but u knw this site keeps holding me from deleting my profile..its as if this had bcme my 2nd home..well 1st is facebook...i am so thankful 4 this site coz its free..and user frndly...also if people keeps telling u 2 stop searching at cs ..so whats its purpose then?4 me nobody knws whats around d corner so ill keep evry posibilities open.

To tell you the truth, I'm here because I don't like most of the Bulgarian men neither as a physical type, nor as way of thinking/behavior. On the other hand, I'm not searching for another citizenship and I'm not a gold-digger. I confess things sound bit complicated laugh

@jana...everyone has their own valid reason yes.,!im not looking 4 another citizenship either nor am a gold digger..we cnt find rich men at a free dating site i suppose...im juz enjoying meeting and communicating with people with diffrent cultures at blogs and forums and at d same time taking chances of possibility of meeting a fine man..who wud ever knw..

Sometimes I wonder to what is the purpose of an international dating site too. If you find someone from another country compatible meaning you like them and they like you, why don't some of them want to have a long-distance relationship? Is love always supposed to be convenient and easy? I think some are missing out on something.

because a lot of times we can't find that special person in our area we are too different than the ones near us so we must expand the search .

Some people do better dating outside of their culture. I know that's true with some American men who need a subservient woman... How else to explain the need for an Asian woman. (Not that all Asian women are subservient, but some nutjobs have that misconception of Asian women...)!

The reason why I am here is because I don't trust any Indonesian no more.. Most of them are narrow minded, they will always chase me but after they know that I've got brains, they would always run. They hate the fact that I can debate about anything and they hate that I always "talk". I prefer western guy. They are not shallow.. plus, I want to have cute eurosian baby grin

Nice...distance relationship is never a bad experience as far as trust is there...We usually met so many peoples in these sites but only few lefts a mark...a very few infact and those few are the ones we should go for no matter at what distance they are......Good peoples will always be good and are trustable.So don't even think at all that Long distance relationship never works...it actually works..:-)

You just start talking to some guys in Alaska I know many that flew to the phillipinse to meet up and are now happily married no women in Alaska theres 10 guys for every guy the men are men and so are the women trust me I KNOW. You will have sucess you just need to focus on where your best chances are dont waste your time on others around the states I moved to Washington from Alaska and now I have 62 different gals trying to talk to me on singlesnet this morning and i would waste any time dealing with overseas with all this going on just remember Alaska hope this helps
