A day of love! Totally cool!
I think it was last week that I asked CS members for suggestions for my V Day show, they responded with a selection of love songs that rivalled the hot one hundred lists on line, surpassing them in places and although some of the songs were not available in our library of at any local record stores ( I didn't have time to push through a requisition for purchase on line..bureaucracy rules everywhere!) I think about 75% of my playlist came from CS members. So thank you all!I dedicated the first song of the show,My Funny Valentine, to you all (Mods as well) andf it really felt as though I was sharing my day with you.
Hope you had as much fun as I did. My voice is a little croaky now but it was worth it - I got a call from a listener saying she was blasting her whole neighborhood with the music because it was too good to keep to herself!
Hope the evening is a joy to you. I am going to make dinner for my mother and then watch a dvd before going to bed. I be tired!!
