I saw your photograph, you are a pretty woman. If I were into women, you would be top on my list. And don't worry about the nickname. I am called Duckie because my last name is a type of duck. I have been Duckie as long as I can remember. I have been asked if I am called Duckie because I waddle when I walk..... In my freshman year of high school the administrators made the same mistake you did and put my in the boy's PE class. It has been interesting to grow up with this nickname!

Why being that upset Swiss is 100% right, no one wants to waste their time and cam is the best choice ..

I am not saying most women look older. I am saying " a lot" of them. There are thousands of women on this site and if 200 of them lie about their age it seems like a lot. I am glad that you use a web cam, it is a great idea and I am happy that it works for you but I don't think it is right to say people are lazy if they don't. Besides, if a man asked a woman to show him what she looks like on cam, it would tick her off most likely. No matter what us men do, we seem to get in troubel..lol I agree though, I never want to waste anyones time!!

i am aware of laptops with vid/cam .i have only been using electronic devices now for under a month.never needed them,except a cell phone,but computers ,no stayed away.but as get more time to myself i will take classes a the imac or apple store to learn more.koo ,thanks for your responds

@Swissblueeyes: I just thought of a better idea .. Why not next time if one of them said that he doesn't have cam, we just ask him to take a photo holding a newspaper of that day ..

I disagree imunbreakable..ive asked men to view my face on web cam before meeting and they always have some lame excuse not to.

You dont need a web cam to view someone, all you need is a instant messenger and they send a link to accept a view of them on their web cam.

I request any man I meet view me on my cam and I view them, with clothes on of course before we meet..

The last thing I want is to waste my time meeting someone who in my "opinion" is too lazy to use this before meeting someone.
AND if we both are sure of what each other looks like before meeting, it makes it easier to face them in a meeting.

@IMunbreakable1: I guess we need to be creative sometimes .. I usually go for the ID to check their real age because there were some guys I met looked so much younger than their age ..

No one wants to waste time though so talk to someone a few times online and then invite them for a coffee or something.If it turns out they were not being so truthful well then at least you know right away and it doesn't take long to drink a coffee and then say "good luck in your search".

As for where my pictures are? Well they are gone and not coming back.I don't need the mean and cruel comments that were sent.

I must admit that I refrain from using the web-cam because of younger men on a different site who were constantly asking to go cam and some of the accompanying comments made me aware that it was NOT to see my face,

That's horrible. I wish people tried to be a little more considerate of other people's feelings..

It's no big deal duckie.It hurt at first but not really anymore.I just took them off.It's not like I needed them up anyway.

I don't believe as I get older I am going to dye my hair or anything like that either. I am just going to try and be happy with myself..My hair is already receding a little and I have some greys and I really don't care.
