How to cope with life on your own before involving someone else, is the name of the Blog, sorry!
Just enjoy the single life.Sometimes its the best than involving not the right person.grin wine
Dear ExitMadrid, I think most of the problems here are that people don't cope with life on there own before they involve someone else . They expect the other to solve the problem . Let's hope we live and learn .
I have found that after 18 years of marriage, then being divorced that this forum allows you to reach out and explore what and who is out there validating that you still can be attractive to someone, Just a thaughtwine
Thanks guys for your fast report, I could not agree more!!!! rolling on the floor laughing are we all humans digging in desperation? drinking
This time I'm enjoying single life more than I did before my previous relationships. Perhaps because I learnt from them. This time I'm going to the pub more and I've joined the photography club. As Rummy says it's better than being with the wrong person.
yes and your other half will never be cross with you , if you are late ...or say the wrong word

and you never have to pick up after them , or wipe the drips off the toilet seat yay yay yay
Hi ExitMadrid wave
I don't 'network' to cope (or hide from) my daily life; I see this virtual social network as an addition. Ofcourse you can write down your thoughts and ask for opinions, but in the end you're the one having to cope by yourself and that's fine.
I would rather turn to a close friend or family member for serious advice or help if I was in need.

Sweetkitten: lovely hearing from you and many thanks for your wise advise. I decided to left the pub/club option 10 years ago but seems will have to reconsider it on more often doh cool

Virgo: love your humor!! thanks!

Sleepin-bird: thanks a lot for your interest and caring! I am sorry if my words caused the opposite effect... my English sometimes is not very accurate. Like you I am of the same opinion about CS, nontheless we are all very different and thought it was useful to hear other views about the site... guess I met some lovely people around with a rather curious vision about what the site could be about dunno. laugh Apart from that must tell I am enjoy the experience specially now that I have managed to discover other ways to interact with people ie: blogging!:

Big thanks to all! hug
that nice , thank you wave kiss

Hi ExitMadrid! wave

It's important for us to be complete on our own ... to be able to find our own balance and our own path to happiness. yay

It's more meaningful to find happiness with someone else but if we require them, then we're incomplete in some way (and we're dependent on them to provide the balance/happiness we're unable to find on our own). blues

Social contact ... including virtual places like CS, is important to our balance... our level of emotional energy... and our happiness. cheers

Nice blog ExitMadrid, some good comments from others as well. Glad to see you on here. I hope you enjoy it. hug
@bsooner cheers
CS isn't really a social network, although it pretends to be uh oh
People aren't really all that friendly, it seems their agendas don't mesh well with most others so its very conflicting and only a lucky few truly make it off of here with what they came for uh oh

I'm here for the free salsa and chips cheers
I'm here for the Freecake happy birthday Once a Year rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing
cheers
I like coming on here for the blogs. When I switch on the computer I always come on this site first to check out the blogs. With my job I get to talk to people, especially the regulars who have become friends outside of the job. This site and a couple of the others (not dating sites) are other ways of making new friends. handshake teddybear
I think my computer by now should have learned to go strigt to cs blogs when i turn it on. handshake
I can rather reprogram it later. drinking
I am the type of person that tries not to involve others when coping with something in life that is difficult. I guess being a cerebral type (thinker), I feel I can manage thru whatever comes my way without burdening someone else with my issues. But I would guess my stubbornness and pride also contributes to that as well.

I do like sites like this wirh forums and blogs where others are experiencing similar things and feeling as myself. I can bounce ideas around, and while giving others advice and insight it sometimes help me think about what I have going on, and in turn help myself realize some things.
Big thank you all for your comments! Guess it took me too long to discover the blog area doh . It is great to know there are great people with healthy intentions in the site .... that is the main reason I've joined CS in the first placeI ... just needed to check my expectations were realistic! wink
Big thank you again for your opinions and your great sense of humor! cool bouquet
