Photo Sharing - at friend's hometown

My friend's parents' house in Telok Intan, Perak. It's a typical Malay traditional house. When I was small I lived in this type of house. We had orchard. During fruit seasons, we just went to pluck the fruits.

The hens and the chicks were free to roam the place, clucking here and there. Sounds like Old McDonald song. With a cluck cluck here and the cluck cluck there, here a cluck there a cluck, everywhere cluck cluck cluck. banana

It was in the evening. The chickens went back to their coop to sleep. This was my first time seeing chickens in the b0xes.

Country life, same we have in our remote village... and I love it there. Thanks for sharing your experience Honey.

As for the chickens/hens, we don't have boxes for them now. we let them rest on our cacao and dalandan (same like orange fruit) trees.
Thanks for the photos, Honey. I love looking at how others live.thumbs up
Shay, I missed my country life. We lived in an extended family in an attap house. There was no electricity. We used charcoal iron to iron our clothes and oil lamp for the lights. Today in the country side, every house has electricity. It's a comfortable life I would say. I don't mind the country life but electricity and water are a necessity.
