Bedroom Feng Shui tips.
1. Let go of the TV, computer or exercise equipment in your bedroom. The good feng shui energy in your bedroom is destroyed when these items are present in your bedroom.(Time to shift my computer out of the room)
2. Open the windows often or use a good quality air-purifier to keep the air fresh and full of oxygen . Be mindful of the quality of air in your bedroom. You cannot have good feng shui in your bedroom if the air you breathe in is stale and full of pollutants. Plants in the bedroom are not good feng shui, unless your bedroom is fairly large and the plants are located far from the bed.
(I can't open my windows all the time as the mosquitoes will fly in and feasted on me.)
3. Have several levels of lighting in your bedroom, or use a dimmer switch to adjust the energy accordingly. Good, appropriate lighting is very important, as light is our nutrient and one of the strongest manifestation of energy. Candles are the best feng shui bedroom lighting, but be sure to buy candles with no toxins.
(I've only one type of lighting in my room. Can't sleep with lights on)
4. Use soothing colors to achieve a good feng shui balance in your bedroom. Feng Shui bedroom decor is a balanced decor that promotes the best flow of energy for restorative sleep, as well as s*xual healing. Best feng shui colors for the bedroom are considered the so-called "skin colors", and we know the colors of human skin vary from pale white to rich chocolate brown. Choose colors within this range that will work best for your bedroom decor.
(time to repaint my room. )
5. Choose the images for your bedroom wisely, as images carry powerful feng shui energy. Best feng shui advice for the bedroom art is to choose images that you want to see happening in your life. Unless you enjoy being sad and lonely, do not use sad and lonely images in your bedroom.
(I don't like to hang anything on the wall.)
6. Have your bed easily approachable from both sides, have two bedside tables (one on each side) and avoid having the bed in a direct line with the door.
A "good looking" and well-balanced bed is very important in creating a perfect feng shui bedroom. Good mattress, solid headboard and high quality sheets from natural fibers are also very important in creating harmonious feng shui energy.
7. Keep all the bedroom doors closed at night, be it the closet doors, the en-suite bathroom door or the bedroom door. This will allow for the best and most nourishing flow of energy to strengthen your health, as well as the health of your relationship.

Chinese believes in Feng Shui and they will engage the Feng Shui master for advice.
I kinda feel like Virgo. A messy bed works wonders for me!
The rational behind the energy flow is when a room is neat(no clutter), one will feel calm and peaceful. I don't do my school work in my room coz of the mess.
Women are known to like clean and neat place but I guess I'm the odd one out. Not only my room but my car as well. Worse than my room. Books everywhere. I always tell my friends and colleagues that my is my school. My brother once said that my car can only accomodate 1 person, that's the driver.
I do clear my car and room but it's always back to square one.
Do you think one's occupation reflect the person personality?
Many many things to consider in feng sui but to know the basic is a good thing, but not too stick on it to have a more peaceful life.
I don't think too much about it. The more I think about it, the more clutter I have in my mind. I take life easy and take one day at a time.
You may be my twin separated!! Naw, your too young.
I am the same way with my car. I will clean it tomorrow and have it ready for my riders for work. I just make sure I have the engine well oiled and the fluids checked. But i have clothes in it, CD's all over, and all my good "stuff".
Ha! This has been a fun blog. I hope to talk to you more in the future!
Men are different. People always say, that's normal but for a woman, people say, untidy girl. So unfair.
I can imagine how your car look with all the stuff. hahahahhaha.
Talking about engine oil, I just remembered, I've not sent my car for service yet.
Well, I am who I am. My motto is take me or leave me.
Sure we can always chat.
Lol...sounds like "My room my home". Guess you spend most of your time in your room.
Your little space sounds and looks exactly like mine minus the fireplace i have a heater.
thanks for the warm welcome.
you have a very pretty picture.....
I like a clean and neat room. I have certain places for certain things, so that when I need it, I know where I can find it easily.
Feng Shui is used by the rich (esp Chinese) with business and the known people in the Phils. I didn't have try but maybe I could apply that one day. It may works for me.
Ed, New profile pic, great!
Guess you are a systematic person. I'm the other way round.Heeee.
In Malaysia, most of the rich businessmen believe in Feng Shui and would spend thousand of dollars to get the advice of the Feng Shui master.
Whether we believe in it or not, there's no harm in trying to follow the advice/tips. It might work, who knows.
Yes it's no fun to sleep alone on such nice comfy bed. Should be shared with someone special.
Sakineh , I'm not into Feng Shui but I do believe there are certain things that we can follow to enhance our qi flow.
