My life may be mundane to some........

Mundane: common; ordinary; banal; unimaginative

To some I may be poor to others I may be rich, to me I am blessed.

I'm no model, but neither are 95% of the world.
My IQ isn't off the charts, but I manage.
Financially I'm not rich but neither am I poor.

My heart is good; my family is happy and healthy; I have a home; I have a job, so.......if that's mundane, I'll take it

I agree. When I was younger, I saw myself as a traveler. Not as die hard as you, but definately more than I am. Had my life gone that way, I would have missed so much that I enjoy now. That fork in the road has brought me to where I am today and I'm good with that....

You know, I think this is one of the things to learn in life, the ability to find the fun, peace or whatever it is you need where ever you are and in what ever you are doing.

I have been in some of the most beautiful places in the world with a bad attitude or bad company and would take coffee in the garden in Australia with a friend over them times every time.

lgs37, welcome to blogs, being as most people is a blessing in my eyes, you can easily find friends who think like you, a husband or a man who wants the same thing and so on. I find it a curse to be very different(a little different is ok and respectable

),different too much means often being always bruised and misunderstood just because you are different from "the masses".

Good to see you too! I just think that your life is a culmination of the choices you've made, be they good or bad. To beat yourself up for those choices and wish you had done differently is to disregard the good that has come from those decisions. JMO
