Funny Mummy
Funny Mummy is the title of a book I'm currently reading. It has lists, quotes and stories about children and their mothers. This book has had me giggling and even laughing out loud in the pub to the point where the staff and other customers gave me funny looks. I thought I'd share one of the stories from the book.'At one point during a football game, the coach says to one of his young players, "Do you understand what cooperation is? Do you understand what a team is?" The little boy nods in the affirmative. "Do you understand," says the coach, "that what matters is whether we win together as a team?" Again the little boy nods yes. "So," the coach continues, "if a goal is disallowed or a penalty is given against you, you don't argue or swear or suddenly attack the referee or linesman. Do you understand that now?" Again the little boy nods. "Excellent," says the coach. "Now please could you go over there and explain all that to your mother."
