Holiday.
I've been on holiday this week. I had intended doing housework but the weather has been so nice I decided to visit a couple of beauty spots and a couple of historical places that I haven't been to for the past 30-45 years. From the bottom photo up the 1st is of The Seven Sisters Country Park----a beautiful place with a beautiful river and a walk that leads to a beach. The 2nd photo is of Beachy Head lighthouse--I took that photo on my walk from Birling Gap to Beachy Head, a distance of 3-4 miles along the cliffs. The 3rd photo is of Lewes Castle---I haven't been there for about 36 years. It has beautiful views of the town and some countryside. Whilst in Lewes I also visited Anne of Cleves House, the 4th photo. Anne of Cleves was one of Henry IIIV's wives. The 5th photo is of Hastings Castle, I haven't been there for 45 years and I also visited the Smuggler's Caves. I eventually did my housework and I've had a lovely relaxing week off. I'm back to work tomorrow. Have a good evening/day everyone.
