Snowy day.

I haven't been on here for a while because of work. At one point I worked 7 days in a row and I've also been on overnight shifts. I was on my way into work today when my boss phoned and told me not to go in because of the weather. Basically the restaurant weren't expecting many customers because of heavy snow so they decided on minimum staff. A few others received the same phone call. Anyway I decided to make the best of the situation and get a bit of housework that I had planned for my next day off done and then I went out and took the photos that I've posted. Thank you for your comments. I'm due in work tomorrow and although I enjoyed today I'm hoping that I actually work tomorrow. We don't get paid if we don't work even if it's our managers who ask us not to go in. teddybear

The snow is starting to go now. We had some rain this evening. I was talking to a customer tonight and he said that he had read that the snow, in our area at least, should be gone by Friday. For those of us that were told not to go into work yesterday that is good news because that will mean we won't lose another shift.
