Hor Far Would You Go For Love?
Inspired by Dolphinlover85's polls "would you be in a long distance relationship?".Evening!
Can’t sleep, so I’m writing this.
I watched the Mobbed show on StarWorld a few days ago. It was about this guy from Pittsburg who moved to LA only to be with this girl whom he has already known for 5 years through internet. Yes. They’re connected through internet for 5 years without seeing each other.
He came to LA with his stuffs packed on a truck. He didn’t know whether this girl would say “yes” or “no” to his proposal. He proposed for this girl to be his “real” girlfriend after 5 years in internet world. He proposed her using the daffodils and circus scences from the movie Big Fish.
Anyway, you can watch the rest via YouTube (if there’s the video). All I want to say is, I don’t know whether that show is a real set up (they’re actors, etc) or it’s a real thing. Either way, I think it’s sweet that after 5 years they’re talking and skyping, and texting without seeing each other, the guy finally made a move and willing to move to LA for this girl. When this guy showed up, this girl said “You’re a real person??”. It showed that, this girl also didn’t know that the guy that she’s been talking through internet is even a real person.
It must be very difficult for this guy to do all those things since he had already got a home in Pittsburg, he had a job in Pittsburg, and he’s willing to do all those things just to be with this girl. He’s willing to go that far for the girl that he loves.
My question is, How far would you willing to go/do for your loved one?

So far 1500 miles......but honestly distance is not the most important factor.
Am I with the right person - I think so. But if we had to travel further to find the right person then to me distance is no object.

It's all about employment and language - who goes where if the relationship is to continue. Visa and health insurance - you know....the small things in life - like eating.
So to you a question - can you get a visa out of your country, get employment easily somewhere else. You obviously speak English but what about any other European language. How would your family or his feel about the relationship?
I am currently working through some of these problems myself - distance is only the start.

A visit??? .. . YES, I would go as far as needed, (within my financial means)
..Pull your mind outa the gutter, I'm talking about God..
(I hope I don't get struck by lighting on this sunny day, for writing like this:)
Now, getting serious. I think that if you are really interested in someone distance is no problem.
Now I have to wait quite a long time before we can meet again....
