So now that the statement is made, is it something to learn from or just keep it going so it looks like it is ok in this present day? My question is if it was wrong then, why would it be ok now?
Not my quest, just a question that came to mind. Or can we all go back in time and give our lives to a myriad of wandering souls? Sacrifice what we are and give back what happened on days gone by?
Or whose picture will be on this poster in 20 years or less?

very appro. being native american myself...and actually was at a gathering for women of cherokee descent last evening...it is always very relaxing...luv the smell of sage...for me it is always peaceful to be there...plus gather up more literature to read of my tribe and of others...

There is a big problem in Canada with the government practically ignoring native people and their needs. A community in dire straits in the north actually had to ask for help from the UN the winter past because the Canadian government ignored them completely. The living conditions were terrible and it reflects very poorly on all Canadians for letting the situation happen in the first place.

ever wondered what would have happened if we all stayed in the Old world? It isnt the immigrants that are the problem, it is the illegals. My dad was part Cherokee and I told him when I was younger, how come the white man isnt on reservations? Kind of stumped him on it, since I lived in Alaska for 10 and enjoyed hanging out with the Inuits/Eskimos. I always loved culture, and history. Yes I am white and I think that we all could learn from each other. I have a saying, if you arent okay with someone breaking into your house etc, how can you be okay with someone coming into your country illegally and stealing from you? Native Americans probably are the only ones qualified to run for President.
