Don Coyote and Sir Barksalot aka Sancho Prissy Pan

These are our boys they are as different as night and day the Husky is quiet but hyperactive and the red dog that I call Sir Barksalot just cant seem to shut up. I got so frustrated with him the other day that I poured his water bowl on his head to shut him up ....It worked and I think although it seems drastic, its more humane than a shock collar. rolling on the floor laughing

So I conclude that a super soaker squirt gun is a good deterrent to a barking dog. I wonder if Pavlov would agree?

A super soaker was a must have here in the days of 5 cats and 2 dogs. We actually wore it out and had to get a second one.

I had two Jagdterriers ,the male was quite mannered tho very protective and would attack anything that came near our property ...the female also protective but she would bark on anything ,a falling leaf ,water hose,birds flying by ...I had to give her to some people who live outside the city

Water is a humane way of getting this dog to stop barking. My friend had a husky, and she used water in a bucket to make him stop barking. This was very effective. I know that Sirbarksalot is not a husky, but it can work if you use this for a while. Good Luck!teddybear

Yeah theyre odd alright LOL Temo is the Husky and Case is the Fauv Basset hound. The funny thing is Case or Cees has bigger teeth than Temo, but Temo likes beer more. If you dont save the last drops for him he gets mad rolling on the floor laughing

So I cant win Pinky gets mad if I give him a few drops and Temo gets mad if I don,t
