The Power of a Smile

I've had a very heavy heart the last few days and feeling unlike myself. My sister and her girls arrived at my place very late last night to stay the weekend with me.

At 4:30 this morning, I awoke to my one year old niece's little face peeking at me over the edge of my bed.

I pulled her up, she laid her tiny head next to mine on my pillow, and smiled.

The healing powers of an innocent, sweet, heart squeezing smile...
