Non, the rate at which bee's are disappearing around the world expect a lot more stings, lucky you don't suffer anaphylaxis.
As a boys me and friends fond a bee nest filled with honey
We made war on the bees smoking them out, The war lasted one day we all got stung, still it was the best honey I had ever have.
Next time look for a bee nest and smoke them out. <laugh>
Have a good day Nonsmoker.peace
Honey hasn't gotten that high here in the U. S. but it just may. It's almost there!

That's too bad. I remember when we used to pay just a couple of bucks for a tin can of honey!

You can get cheep stuff here but it seems more like syrup than honey.

Enjoy your Lads wave
ladyinaCage,
It was organic Manuka Honey. are you a Connoisseur wine
in deed i am my good sir, i am always dripping in itwink
Bzzzzzzzzz wow
Non is this Manuka honey from NZ?
Checkout how much they produce and how much is sold around the world.
Hi Non!
Don't you also get the cheaper honey over there? You know, that EU - honey which contains a mixture of all sorts of honey from several countries poured together. It's cheaper than the domestic kind and tastes good. laugh

Here people take great efforts getting honey from some bee-keeper and are willing to pay alot for it.

I think, the EU honey is also okay, as honey is never heated anyway. nerd popcorn
You are absolutely right about the fake stuff that is syrup flavored chemically to taste like honey. It costs a dollar a jar! Loaded with high fructose syrup that will ruin your liver!
Hi non wave

It won't be so that high price in here for honey, well unless you wanna buy for a whole a year that you will get that price 20 eurogrin

But there cost nothing when you call someone Honey laugh
In Austria for God's sake it has to be strictly Identfied on each glass how much real honey it will contain. wine
Mr willing.
Can you post a link, thumbs up thumbs up
non
If it is Manuka honey...it is very expensive but has good medicinal qualities...too bad you got stung!!
Calleis

Yip That's the stuff I get the EU Stuff laugh

The Manuka was for medicinal purposes wink

At work...working hard...lol...on my break anyways...it's raining again so don't mind doing night shift...
I hope your cough will disappear after the "treatment"...one gal I knew in NZ believed that mixing apple cider vinegar and honey for consumption increases energy and prevents colds/flu...hope it works!! wine
was that, that special manuka honey? My son went on a course for bee keeping so this year beside own eggs grin scold no not mine his chucksgrin I will get get honey at cost price. I will market it to the Irish friends cost price.laugh teddybear
I know the healing of honey and I suggest you better be healthy after paying 20 Euro for a honey jar. I can not eant honey any more, but I know it cost a lot of money here too. Can it have soemthing to do with the fact that the bees are losing it? They are losing their way of collecting the honey... scary thing that is! And because we have less bees to make the honey because they can not do their job any more...sigh The end of Honey is near!
hug teddybear hug
lol.is it the first of april?
Hi Non wave

goodness , for 20 euro a jar ,,it would want to cure a lot of ailments ! wow we're robbed here in Ireland as you know !
For 20 euros ...Don't let a drop of it go to waste !laugh Hope you feel better soon hug
Hi Non,

That must have been high UMF Manuka? It is worth the price for medicinal purposes.
Anything less than 10+UMF is not medicinal.
Check out the Watson range in Super Valu.

Use Braggs organic Apple Cider Vinegar when you are making the honegar. It is the best.

And when buying 'regular' honey, always buy the one produced closest to home. It is the healthiest and most natural for your system.
Non, try
I use this it's expensive but is beneficial.
