It was organic Manuka Honey. are you a Connoisseur
Checkout how much they produce and how much is sold around the world.
Don't you also get the cheaper honey over there? You know, that EU - honey which contains a mixture of all sorts of honey from several countries poured together. It's cheaper than the domestic kind and tastes good.
Here people take great efforts getting honey from some bee-keeper and are willing to pay alot for it.
I think, the EU honey is also okay, as honey is never heated anyway.
It won't be so that high price in here for honey, well unless you wanna buy for a whole a year that you will get that price 20 euro
But there cost nothing when you call someone Honey
Can you post a link,
If it is Manuka honey...it is very expensive but has good medicinal qualities...too bad you got stung!!

I hope your cough will disappear after the "treatment"...one gal I knew in NZ believed that mixing apple cider vinegar and honey for consumption increases energy and prevents colds/flu...hope it works!!
goodness , for 20 euro a jar ,,it would want to cure a lot of ailments ! we're robbed here in Ireland as you know !
For 20 euros ...Don't let a drop of it go to waste ! Hope you feel better soon
That must have been high UMF Manuka? It is worth the price for medicinal purposes.
Anything less than 10+UMF is not medicinal.
Check out the Watson range in Super Valu.
Use Braggs organic Apple Cider Vinegar when you are making the honegar. It is the best.
And when buying 'regular' honey, always buy the one produced closest to home. It is the healthiest and most natural for your system.
I use this it's expensive but is beneficial.
