Pakistan killings...
What makes a man, believe so much that he kills kids, not one or two but dozens, It seems these killers spoke Arabic, we have yet to discover their identities.These men were once kids, had mothers,brothers or sisters... what is going through their minds. Its obvious these men are brainwashed, by other men that have been brainwashed. But even so, I'd love to know their background.
Now, with the indiscriminate bombings by armys that kills innocent kids and women, are they justified ?..This attack is in revenge for villages being raised to the ground by military bombings. So they may have seen their own kids killed.
I truly despair now to what is going on in the name of religion..and thats why religion has, is and will continue to be a reason to kill others.
...But I wonder if there was religion, what other excuse would we have to slaughter thousands....what does god have to say about this..can anyone tell me ?

I just heard about this on the radio....what a true shame.
It's easier to get people to go out and butcher their own kind, if they can be.convinced they are doing the will of a god, and the people being butchered deserve to be butchered.
And, if you can convince your troops they'll be rewarded in the next life should they fall in glorious battle...all the better!
One is left to wonder to what extent the leaders themselves hold the beliefs they attempt to instill. In all of his speeches, George Washington used the word Christian only twice. Both times he was urging troops to do their duty as "Christian soldiers".

I did say "few". One of the "World's Great Religions" undeniably has a doctrine and history of "conversion by the sword".
However, even with that said, rulers can exploit religious zeal for political purposes. Such as by sending children to their death with a small plastic key that will guarantee their entry to paradise.
There should be a tenth, and lower, circle of hell for such "Holy Men".

1. It created itself.
Problem -.it would have to simultaneously exist (in order to DO the creating)
And NOT exist (in order to BE created)
2. The Universe is self-existent, having neither beginning nor end.
Problem - it appears to be a closed energy system, and it is consuming energy, but not creating more.
So it appears that it cannot be infinitely old, nor will it continue infinitely.
3. The natural Universe of time, space and matter was created (caused) by an extra, or super natural force, or God.
"Everything that has a beginning, has a cause. The Universe had a beginning, therefore, the Universe has Cause."
Those are your choices folks. Take your pick.
NOTE: #2 enjoyed a remarkably good & long run. It was quite popular from antiquity 'til use of the steam engine prompted reseach into heat & energy. Since then, folks who want to reject #3 have been trying to come up with a alternative that is mathematically possible, scientifically plausible and logically rational.

It is sad that children are being harmed/killed out of revenge...it doesn't sound like religion to me unless your religion is hate...humans are just plain stupid...any excuse will do to dominate...isn't that the reason behind killing?...
It appears that way...it just seems so hopeless...
