Are there any limitations?.....

Sometimes people want someone who will always be there no matter how bad they treat them.Sometimes this is what they mean(the bad). It's hard to be there for someone who keeps on doing the same things and expect you to stay. Eventually they will give up because everyone has a breaking pointfrustrated frustrated

It depends on what, "no matter what" is. It sounds like it might be a lot of work, a possible headache, or a potential miserable time. Example....don't give on me no matter what because I will be locked away in prison the rest of my life.


However, if it is something minor, it might be just normal day to day life one may have to acclimate to when being in a new relationship.


Example.....don't give up on me no matter what because I pick up my socks off the floor usually a couple hours after I wake up.

Maxy... what I understand when I say "I Love You" to someone, means I do everything for him no matter what... so I really have to be careful in saying that 3 words... it could be trapped myself..

seems to me that you are referring to "unconditional love". In my humble opinion, this is an ideal which does not exist in reality.

No matter what? I'll stand by someone through hell and high water. I won't stand by someone having adventures with other women. Some women do, because they understand 'no matter what' to include patiently waiting for him to be sure.

So for me, 'no matter what' is on my terms, and that makes it meaningless, because hell and high water doesn't happen very often and there are women everywhere. rolling on the floor laughing

Though we may like to think of ourselves as behaving in a certain way in certain circumstances, we can never know with certainty how we will actually behave in those circumstances. Only undergoing the experience itself will actually determine this.
As someone said: "We only know ourselves insofar as we have been tested".
Believing in "unconditional love" and practising "unconditional love" are two very different things.
