Invited in for coffee
You’ve been on several dates together and become friends, you like the person and get on well, however, the day arrives when you get invited in for coffee.You really like what you have going together and dont want to spoil it by moving the friendship in other realms. Not that it is a gimme you’re going to have sex but generally when one gets invited in for coffee the chances are high that’s whats on the agenda.
So...
A) How do you avoid the situation without crashing the friendship?
B) Does it make a difference if the invitee is male or female?... explain

We just meet at a coffee shop, until I decided to invite him to my house, which hasn't happened in over a decade.
I saw a musician for coffee a couple of years ago on another dating site. It was very obvious, that he just wanted a showpiece, so we did not see each other again, although he still attempted forever to contact me, while I did not answer, and eventually he gave up, to my immense relief.

Okay, write a bit about the surroundings, set the scene for the reader. The lighting, does she put on music? slip into something more comfortable?
If she sits primly on the sofa, knees together, what's the hero to do?

Set the scene. Where? Between his fingers? His knees? Or is that a Canadian euphemism
I have seriously awful taste in men, so that means if I like someone I instantly know he is rubbish and should be discarded INSTANTLY. It makes finding a guy a little tricky!
