My not too recent first date, I chose to have just coffee with him at Starbucks.

He paid and he did so on our subsequent dates.

In return, I got my daughter to bake him cakes and I also bought him lots of fruits and sometimes decorative indoor house plants.

Oh, our very recent date, I took him to a local foodcourt, alfresco-style. I ordered his favourite chicken satay and fresh orange juice and other local delicacies. I paid for that meal, much to his horror!! laugh
