I think the feeling is more intense when closing our eyes as we can focus better on the stimuli.

Same as when tasting some food..We also close our eyes in order to focus on the sense od taste and the flavour and not using the sight.

It's quite simple, really...
Eyes closed eliminates unnecessary and distracting (as noted by Eks

) visual input.
That enables greater focus on/appreciation of the sense used in kissing...
touch.

Seri I've kissed my partner with my eyes open and closed and for me I've been able to look him in the eye while kissing him and I've met him eye to eye I love the look in his eyes the glassed look he has in is eyes is a turn on for me. depends who your kissing just go with open or closed .now on glazed maybe you have to much drink or the lights are to dim .I think if someone was purposely opening the eyes to see the other it would be kinda of a let down

Calmheartseekers im not making myself clear . I also close my eyes while kissing as things warm up I sometimes look into my partners eyes. I'm sure if your eyes are closed you don't know if he's staring at you . me myself I can feel when someone so close is staring at me . Thank you for your comment
