Julius Malema admits black didn't come from South Africa

Now this is interesting given the bill that has recently passed that allows confiscation of farmland without compensation. If I understand the story correctly Julius Malema was the one pushing the ANC really hard for this bill and saying the whites stole the land from blacks.

Now this is where it gets interesting. It seems blacks are still moving to South Africa from other less fortunate countries in Africa, and not being welcomed in by some of the blacks that are already there. In fact some are being murdered because their accent gives away their origins. Well Julius Malema is trying to stop the murders and grow his political support by gathering these newcomers into his camp. In an effort to do so he is trying to get the blacks that have been there from attacking the newly immigrated. Which leads to this. He recently gave a speech admitting that all the Bantu people there were not native to that part of Africa.

Instead of me rambling on about a subject I have only heard about, I'll provide a link to an interesting video on the subject. I admit I don't know much about Willem Petzer who makes videos on youtube, but he uses actual footage of Ju;ius Malema speeches to make his point. I doubt this will have much effect on the new law, but it is worth watching IMO.

When my new South African neighbours moved in they said "what´s going down bro?" I said "The value of my feking house now you live here!"
This is not new, I was aware of this many years ago, probably before the ANC was invented, surely it is widely accepted? How come it is suddenly new news?!
Silly me, it is the usual myopia where people conveniently overlook the facts and, as in this case, even try to rewrite history.
It seems Julius Malema makes the news every time he opens he mouth. Why should this be any different.
It is a historical fact that most blacks prefer to ignore. The Khoi were the only inhabitants here before blacks and Europeans invaded the country. They were not agressive people so were murdered by both blacks and whites. They gave them some land where it seldom rains and ignore them as far as possible. Black and white met for the first time round about 1840. Before that, they were unaware of each other. The whites were moving north while the blacks migrated south at that time. After a lot of murdering each other they more or less decided on who may live where. Lines were drawn and accept for some cattle stealing and such we lived fairly peaceful amongst each other for a while.

Unfortunately the Brittish messed it all up by changing borders and causing a couple of more wars in order to expand their territory. The previous government tried to rectify it by buying out white farmers and giving the land back to the black traditional leaders. There were homelands for all the different tribes. That land is still in their hands. Blacks can live there but they can't own the land as it belongs to the chiefs and kings. As none of the land in black hands are registered in individuals names it distorts the figures when it comes to who owns what percentage of the land. If you exclude the homelands and land belonging to government then whites have most of the land. That is the lie they are feeding the world.

Millions were paid out to people claiming land and then rather want money than the land they claimed. The ones who were stupid enough to take the land can't get it registered in their names so they are basically tenant on their own land. The small percentage of black land owners bought their farms themselves. So it is true that only 2% of blacks own land as the rest can't get ownership of the land they are living on.
Oups, apologies for the typos, I'm doing too many things at once.
Amazing history , so many people think South Africa was an Apartheid country and hated blacks, full stop.
This was the general consensus when I was growing up. It is so much more intricate and needs so much study of the actual history. Elkself, Miwagi, and others living in S.Africa seem to know about the tribal situation and you certainly won't get the facts from Fox News or most Newspapers.

Many thanks for this great blog and the others here on the blogs written about South Africa.
Very very interesting and like the saying says 'things are not always as they seem'.thumbs up
I don't know how people finance the property that they buy overseas. Here, the banks provide finance to homeowners and farmers if you qualify for a loan. There is no legislation to take the land, because the land belongs to the banks. I told you this on the forums., But people like you have so much longing for SA to suffer more, why? I am not asking anyone else to reply to my comment please I'd like to read the answer from the OP.
Lol. Black, white, brown came from the same earth. That's all I've got to say.

At one time billions of years ago this earth was one solid mass. wave
Again the DA recently won three big municipalities in the recent municipal election, and therefore the chances are very high that they will win the 2019 election. Why everyone wants the worst for this little land is beyond me, but they always have done. Many south africans would say they were from australia to avoid being attacked when they travelled abroad.
DA not DP. They were still the DP in my day doh

I said I was out of the loop! laugh
This was just posted today. As long as the Boer's are being murdered it going to get reported no matter who it upsets. This was just posted two hours ago. So don't tell me it is wishing SA ill to report this.

This is Boet Smal. He was murdered during a #FarmAttack last night close to Heidelberg in Gauteng. He was stabbed in his head and chest. His wife, Esther, was stabbed in the back when she tried to run from the attackers.

It is the thing, the " race card".Another alternative is the " victim card".

The bloggers so far, who have done us all a service; stating history, links and personal aspects in lieu of pointless defensiveness or counter challenges comments.
Thank you for the much needed clarity on this important global subject, devoid any emotional outbursts. This is not a stretch for writers, and I for one could not articulate on this subject as well as your have done here.
It is clear that if you have immigrated to a country,or were brought to it as a child then it skews your perception if you want to identify with the nation. The "melting pots " clearly can not be equated with each other historically but the human need for acceptance, unity and respect is prevalent.
Again, thanks to those who's blogs comments acknowledge the means of coexistence, and are not divisive.
Thanks again for responding to the " victim card" played here in an enlightened manner.

Chesney,
I was thinking about your comparing the power (corruption) within prison,to the corruption(power) outside of it.
I could throw out the absolute power quote here but it is CS Blogland that I am framing my comments with;
as often stated " we are all prisoners of our own device". hug
Hello Plat, I don't know you but you must admit, we hear the hate talk so much we learn to shut it out. You won't stop them, the only way anyone learns (if they are willing to learn) is by example, that's the best we can do and so we should live by the best example that we can. SA has been through many troubles and Mandela used the same hate speech, which as you know it's illegal to use hate speech in this country.
