When your neighbor is a Demon.

Police in Springfield, Massachusetts observed a male driver (40 year old Steward Weldon) striking a woman passenger. They also observed him changing traffic lanes without signalling and attempted a traffic stop. There was a chase.

From ABC News at
"Following a short chase, police apprehended Weldon. They found a woman with him in the car who told officers that Weldon had held her captive for a month, sexually assaulted her and beaten her,.."

Investigators seeking to corroborate the victim's tale conducted a search of the vehicle driver's home. Inside they found the decomposing bodies of 3 more women. Two of those women had been previously reported as missing by their families. One had disappeared last December, one disappeared this March. The third, also the youngest (27) had not been reported as missing. Weldon's mother purchased the home several years ago but investigators have not been able to locate or interview her yet. Police also found evidence corroborating yet another victim's tale of kidnap, rape, robbery and other abuse.

Weldon has been arraigned on two different sets of kidnap and rape charges. No person has yet been charged in connection with the 3 dead women found in his home. The deaths are viewed as suspicious and the investigation continues. Based on the presence of visibly disturbed soil in the yard Police brought in ground penetrating radar and determined several areas of interest. Forensic excavation is underway at those specific spots.

As always, the neighbors expressed surprise at the news.

Howdy do Ken wave
I've had one but nothing came of it/him, but whats worse than a neighbor demon, is when your cousin is also one.

Glad that one got caught, a bit late for some sad flower
but more shall live because he has been.
Now Ooby, you know better than to pollute the story with facts. We were just about to blame Hillary for the crime until you ruined it with the truth. . . . very mad . . . . very mad
The woman was incredibly lucky and the police were too by stumbling on a serial killer right in the middle of traffic.....wine
People are crazy! You just never know who your living next door too!
There are just to many nut cases running loose
OMG one can only wonder what carries on in that devious mind. wow
Re Ooby's comment, police advice is that if you are ever abducted and bundled into the boot (trunk) of the car, try to kick out or dislodge one of the rear lights - best case scenario is if you can get your arm through the hole and wave for attention, but even if you can stop it working there's at least a chance of the car being stopped by the police.

I know, help but a plan, even such a tiny chance of success, is better than no plan
