LIFE DIRECTION time to act

The last few days, or even hours more, have called on me the need to make decisions, either informed, wise, or intuitive.
I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN EXACTLY ON THE STORY.
Perhaps some key-words will aid you in taking an interest and please giving me feedback - concise and sensible please.

MOUNT CARMEL
MALTA
MENTALITY
LOVE
DELLA or SOPHIE
HOSTEL 94
DIVORCE FROM ENGLAND
BUGIBBA - flat owned to sell
MONEY, MONEY, MONEY (must be funny ") - ABBA song
Lyrics
Music
WRITING A NOVEL
PEACE
HAPPINESS

TIME -MANAGEMENT

(that's enough for now , feel self-imposed pressure of not wasting time
but must wait - be patient - AND IT WILL BE WORTH YOUR WHILE TO READ WHAT WILL FOLLOW

Malcolm
pen-name Karl Mel Del Paige
(that's original - always liked name Carl - rather than Malcolm)
Mel - because coupled with Carl - CAR/MEL - Monte Carmeli - the name of a mental institution in Malta
Del - this is recent brainwave , inspired by a lovely woman Sophie a.k.a Della
Paige (as in Elaine Paige - singer - BUT MOSTLY as in 'page' - that of a book where one 'turns over a new leaf'
as the saying goes - "It's a new dawn, new day, new life for me ........ and I'm feeling good"

SMILE
BE HAPPY
LOVE< PEACE< HAPPINESS
see you later

laugh kiss heart beating applause handshake

BLESS YOU ALL

Women and men..... Karma....

Who knows whether all those stories about bad Karma are true or not? In my case, I'm thinking there just may be something to it. But whatever, I wondered if the Karma deal might apply differently to men and women. Not so much just because the sexes are so different in so many ways. But because we often think, feel and act differently. So maybe out Karma accounts differ.

Not A Bad Day

The sun is out melting the snow. Was to the doctor and mentioned my back to him, he checked me out and gave me a script for some pain killers but he wants me to get therapy as this is not the first time I had back trouble. Problem is that its very expensive and not covered by our health care system. I don't know what I am going to be able to do if anything, will have to play this one by ear.

How's your day going? :)

If you are one of them? CONGRATS!

We were the strong ones from the 50s ... 60 ... 70
First of all, we survived a normal birth,
with mothers who smoked, and drank
during their pregnancy.

They took aspirins, ate vinaigrette sauce,
mayonnaise and desserts and they were
not tested for diabetes or cholesterol.
And after that trauma we were put
to sleep on our stomach in children's beds
dyed with beautiful shiny lead paint. There were no child locks on the doors
and when we drove by bike we had
basketball hats and no helmets.

As a baby or child we ride along
on mother's lap
in cars without belts,
nor high chairs or inflatable cushions. Sitting in the box of a van, or on the horse of Farmer Zutter, on a sunny day, was always a very special experience.

We drank well water or water from the tap
and no water from a plastic bottle.

We ate tarts, white bread, real butter,
bacon with eggs and beech nuts
and walnuts that were already on the ground.
We drank hot chocolate
with real sugar in it.
We did not suffer from obesity.
WHY ?

Because we always played outside.
Therefore!!
We left the house early in the morning
to cycle to school
(there were then no mothers who could bring us by car),
or to play all day in the fresh air
and this on condition that we
were at home in the evening.
(or when the street lights started to burn)
Our parents did not know where we were going.
We did not have a mobile phone but we had not experienced Dutroux yet.We had "dirty clothes to play"
and "clean clothes" to visit.

We needed hours to make our play equipment ourselves.

We had no
Playstations, Nintendos, X-box, iPod etc.
There were no video games,
no 150 TV channels, no videos or DVDs
no stereo chains.

For 18 hours you only looked at the 'test image'
There were no computers or internet.
WE HAD YET FRIENDS
and we went outside to play with them. We felled out of trees, cut us,
broke an arm, leg or a tooth from time to time.
We "picked" apples and pears,
and there were no legal prosecutions to
blame for that.
If we were caught,
then we got a beating and
at home we wisely kept our mouth shut.We got a big bike for our 12th birthday, played with sticks like sword, a lid of the rubbish bin as a shield, catapults, slings, bow and reed arrows with a large nail in front ...
We made old knives, good throwing knives and practicing us on a tree trunk or an old bird peck target from the cafe.
Although we were told
that we could lose our eyes
or hurt ourselves with those things
, we all survived.

We drove by bike or went on foot
to the home of a friend and just
walked past behind.
We were very welcome and sometimes joined the table for lunch.
The idea that our parents sent us out of prison
to get, was absurd, that just did not exist.
They were with and for the law, and with the teachers.
If we got a punishment at school
, we got another extra punishment at home!

Our generations have produced some of the best entrepreneurs, thinkers and inventors
of all time and from all over the world.
These years brought an explosion of novelties and new ideas.

We had the freedom to try, the fear of failure, the success and the responsibility
that went with it.
We have learned to control that
and to deal with it.
If you are one of them?
CONGRATS!

cheers
