The Story Of How God Helps - an inspiring story

I first heard this anecdotal story many years ago, but in the form of a joke.
And, whilst the way the joke ended differed from the way that this story did, the MORAL of them both are the same.
Be blessed.smile daisy

Gray Wolf Calling

My full moon in Cancer 24 & 25

Browsing for castoreum (butt secretions) musk.
Pheromone raw material for love potions for the shop.
The appearance of the lone gray wolf in my psyche.
Inviting me to run with the wind and howl at the moon.
A man's head (primitive hebrew resh) with long black shiny hair in pony tail.
I recall pow wow songs and bonfires.
Vision quests of how life should be.
The skin crawlers of the Navajo Indians, peyote and red earth magic.
Maybe this is my alibi.
I caught a love one the other day.
Disguising as a sex shop model!
On my chat room discussion about cyber safety and financial fraud.
Yes, it's an awkward situation but nothing to be ashamed off.
It's just obstetrics and gynaecology in fishnet and lace garters.
This one raised me.
LMAO this must be the reason why I'm browsing for castoreum
Thank you Papa and I love you very much though I'm 42.

Tonight, before I enter the inner sanctum of my being. I will be smoking a few sticks of fortune green(peyote substitute) and a shot of gin in my ming cup. As I caress the sword blade of my Wakizashi and Stella Matutina sword. I will say thanks as I let go of the past and a few tears will fall. Every slash creates a pentacle. To welcome the shaman in me. Awoooo!

Tales from the Pow wow
*Gray Wolf etymology latin : Canis Lupus
Agnum lupo eripere velle(To wish the impossible. Literally to wish to rescue a lamb from a wolf).
I remember the legend of Rome. Twin brothers Romulus and Remus are nursed(wolf milk) and cared by a She-Wolf. Syncronised with Magic the Gathering card "Sacred Wolf" HEXPROOF.

When we forget…

Isn’t it frustrating when you forget something? Simple things, important things, natural things, unpleasant things…and it doesn’t even have to be due to one’s aging process. Forgetting can be useful sometimes, yes; I mean, who wants to remember embarrassing, unpleasant, hurtful, negative experiences?
But WHY do we forget though? Is it because of Old age? Wealth and Privilege/Superiority complex? Hate? Belief of Entitlement? Personal choice? Medical defect? hmmm ?
When we forget simple things, we may feel frustrated, and the result of our error may be mild. We could try to avoid a repeat of the mistake by doing things to help remind ourselves (e.g. writing things down, asking someone to remind us, putting an alarm note on our phone, etc). But when we forget important things, there may be dire consequences.
When we forget that we should be loving each other, not squabbling about material things (like money, land, etc), then there’s WAR. When we forget that we are all equal (in the sight of GOD), then there’s OPPRESSION. When we forget that adults have a responsibility to guide and protect all children (as we were/should have also been guided and protected as children ourselves), then there’s ABUSE. Sadly, the list goes on…sigh
I have to remind myself of so much sometimes, that I still forget one or two things. LOL! Old age perhaps? But I don’t want to forget the important things. If respect, love and appreciation is what we want for ourselves, then we should appreciate that it’s what others would want for themselves too. So, please, let us not forget…

Will you remember me when I am gone

Recently watching so many 911 video project, how much memories left for their love ones? I look back to myself, who will remember me when I am gone? Buddhist believes we are going to all different circle after our death. Christian believes everyone goes to heaven. We came to this life bringing nothing and we left is the same. Your family mostly will remember you because of blood related somehow you will always connect to. Your spouse will remember you whether is happy or sad. Your friends depend how well they know you, they may remember you. What do you want people to remember you?

MUHAMMAD & AISHA.

Aisha was the daughter of Abu-Bakr. She was 6years old when she married the prophet Muhammad. When she was 9years of age, he had intercourse with her.
This is an example in the Koran which other Muslims can use to legitimise such behaviour.
Is this child abuse or not?

Stop breathing…if you can.

About 20 years ago, whilst living (and working) on the island of St. Kitts, I was present when one of my work colleagues professed to the room (a few of us were in the Staff lounge), that he was an Atheist and didn’t need God because he was in full control of his life.

At the time, I considered what he had said to be a bold statement, because most of the island’s population were of a varied, and highly religious orientation. I was astonished, and wondered what about this life of ours we could ever truly be in ‘control’ of? Nothing.

Even as a child, I had learnt about the effect of God’s presence in the lives of men, and remember using prayer to access His help with a problem or two that I had. I wasn’t a ‘Christian’ then, but had been exposed to Biblical teachings by my mother, grandparents and other close relatives, then later, at schools and different churches (e.g. Catholic, Anglican, and Seventh Day Adventist) over time, and I believed.

I said to my colleague that if he truly believed that he didn’t need God and was in full control of his life, then he should “stop breathing”. Of course, he could not do so (if he wished to remain alive), and appeared a bit confused by the thought, because he hadn’t expected that sort of response.

What real control do any of us have? Not even the breath we breathe is ours. It belongs to God.

What a sensible young woman

I wouldn't normally post this for fear of being accused of being provocative. Not that I am actually afraid of that particular accusation, but I am not particularly inviting it either. There are loads of videos like this around, and loads promoting the opposite point of view, but I just found this one entertaining. I suppose I like the personality of the presenter.

And if watching it saves just one person, that would justify it. smile

How To Love Your Enemies

“...Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you”.
(Matt. 5:44)

One of the most challenging things that God has told us to do is to “love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you” (Matt. 5:44). How does one do this without appearing to be a hypocrite? I mean, really? If someone has hurt me deeply how could I love, bless, do good to and pray for him/her, when I know that all I really want is justice? And that justice can only come when I’m satisfied that he/she has suffered enough for wronging me.

So you see my dilemma. If I do what God says, I am not only depriving myself of the justice that I seek, but also, I have to do so ‘with love’. Now tell me that that isn’t hard to do.

A few years ago I heard a song by a Country Western singer about praying for your enemies (or something along that line) and in it he sang that he took the advice of the Preacher at his church, and decided to pray for his ex-girlfriend who had broken his heart. The thing was, He prayed that awful things would happen to her, and that made him feel so good that he resolved to do it again.

I laughed when I heard it, and the words made me feel good because someone understood how much easier it was to seek justice, than to offer forgiveness. Now that is being real.

Unfortunately for us, God is more concerned with our obedience to His Will, not because He’s mean and uncaring, but because He knows that the way He has prescribed is the best way for us to heal. Revenge disguised as ‘justice’ is not what God wants us to focus on. “...For the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God”, says His Holy Word (Js 1:20). So, if healing is truly what we want, then we have to do it His way, a little at a time, as sincerely as we can. And that is being obedient.

How to love your enemies? Don’t doubt the remedy. Use the formula that God has prescribed.

I've tried it, and I can testify that it works. wink wine

What is Success really?

I wish I was rich and famous, I’ll take powerful too if I can get it,
And then I know I’ll be really happy, because then I will have
Everything I want, I’ll have all the richs and all the things and all
The respect that money and power brings, (look, I’m even rhyming
By accident) and when I die there will be a monument erected for
Me because I was loved so much! Right?.....WRONG!

Now I know there are rich and famous and powerful people who
May be happy because they got what they wanted, but I know that
Would not work for me, because while I WANT to be rich and famous
(Not too pushed on the powerful bit) should I ever get there I would
Consider myself a failure because I would not be happy and would
have wasted my time in this experience,
Success for me will be measured not in what I have, but in what I have
Not, and the only way to achieve real success in this experience in my opinion
is to not focus on what you want, but to do the simplest and yet the hardest
Thing, find within yourself your hearts true desire and follow that desire
To the end.
I know I have said the obvious but sometimes you can’t see the wood
For the trees, and there's no harm in reminding ourselves every so often.
