In Search of the Lost Soul part 2

And now, let's see what we can do with the answers, right?

The soul is that spiritual part that most living beings have, whether they are animals, birds, or humans. (I will not comment further, as I know many will have other questions, but humans always have questions...)

The soul has the same shape as the body that carries it, only in a spiritual form.

The soul, as mentioned above, is a spiritual matter that exists in a different, yet undiscovered, form and frequency by humans, which is why its existence cannot be proven.

We cannot see it because... and here there are several reasons:
Firstly, although the human eye has the ability to see souls, the human brain has not been trained to do so.
Secondly, humans are not allowed by God (the one in whom many no longer believe but who is as real as you, me, and anyone else).
Thirdly, we could see the soul if we attempted to do so in a spiritual manner rather than a physical one (for this, observe a terminally ill person before their last moments, observe their reactions, and you will see the soul leaving them, not with your eyes but with your own soul, with the eyes of your mind, as some would say).

We can touch a soul, but again, not in the way we expect... physically, but spiritually. Look for a person when they are at their lowest point in life, speak to them from the soul (the one you believe neither you nor they have), help them cheer up, help them overcome, and you will see that although they had a sad face before, at the end of the conversation, their face will be brighter, and their eyes, which initially seemed dark, will now emit a ray of light in the darkness... that is proof that you have touched a soul, not with your body as many expect, but with your soul. Therefore, we want to know these things, but we ask the wrong questions. On the other hand, we may rely too much on the material world and too little on the spiritual one, yet we still expect answers regarding the spiritual world. The problem is that you cannot:

Ask the wrong questions and expect correct answers.

Solve spiritual problems based on solutions and laws from the material world.

I am sure that many will continue to have questions and arguments of all kinds, but I have said it in the past, and I will say it again: those who do not wish to believe will not believe, regardless of the arguments presented to them. However, those who desire to believe will search and find the necessary arguments and reasons to believe.

In conclusion, I would like to advise you to keep your soul intact and pure because that is the true 'self' within each and every one of us. The soul will continue to live even when the body can no longer do so. And if you abandon it now, or its goodness... you are giving up on yourself and the goodness that resides within you.

Thank you for your attention and time, and may you have a beautiful life."

A day without Trump is like...

Impossible. Not going to happen. If you've been following the news lately, you can see the man is unhinged. Everyday he says something stupid or self-incriminating. Yesterday, I read he's attacked his his former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany. He claims she understated his poll numbers to Ron DeSantis by calling her "Milktoast" and many conservative republicans are saying Trump's comments have become insane, pathetic and unacceptable. Some have called his last attack “a canary in the coal mine” moment for the former president.

Last week, he claimed if elected, he will change the constitution.
Oh? I wasn't aware presidents had such powers.

He's still bumping in the night over what is and what should never be regarding documents taken from the White House. The lies exceed the truths. I read his attorneys have briefed him on the possible outcome of the investigation.

Catwalk... no updates?

It's been a busy week for me and it's not over. I've got one installation going on very well with the exception of the kitchen island. The client did a walk-thru and said it's too big. Okay, we followed the architectural dimensions, made a perspective layout. He's got a designer and general contractor involved. No problem. We're sending out a change order and making one cabinet smaller.
Next!
Another installation, in a highrise. We couldn't deliver because the elevator was broken. The elevator in the other tower was working, so my people had to carry all the cabinets, doors, and panels, across a catwalk, making double work to get the delivery done.

On the ground it was breezy, normal for the beach. The seas weren't choppy. At the top of the condo, the wind was 20 to 30 miles per hour.

Here's a view from the catwalk...

My anniversary blog...

I joined Connecting Singles in July of 2018. While some people have complained that I write 3 to 4 blogs a day. I'm currently on 1,639 and lost a few when the moderators cleaned their system.

Doing some simple math of 5 years at 360 days per year or 1,800 days not counting one or two leap years total in that time period. That's less than a blog a day and not 3 to 4 as others have claimed. Amazing.

The main blog page states:
"A Blog is a journal you may enter about your life, thoughts, interesting experiences, or lessons you've learned. Post an opinion, impart words of wisdom, or talk about something interesting in your day. Update your blog on a regular basis, or just whenever you have something to say. Creating a blog is a good way to share something of yourself with others..."

Limits aren't mentioned and I'm okay with that... you should be too.

Bret is predicted to be the first hurricane of the 2023 season...

Bret is currently a tropical storm in the Atlantic Ocean headed West and predicted to cross the Dominican Republic this weekend.
Too soon to batten down the hatches, but it's advised to store water, canned foods, check the batteries on flashlights and get any safety gear ready for the storm that could possibly move into the Gulf of Mexico within a week from now.
Change the setting on your refrigerators to the coldest, fill a few bottles with water and keep in the freezer so you will have enough ice to keep perishables from going bad if you are without power.

Campaign promises...

All politicians make promises if elected. Some have good intentions, but a lack of understanding how to actually get their promise implemented. For example: Repealing the Affordable Care Act aka Obamacare that went into law in 2010 and replacing it with something better and cheaper. Not happening. Constructing a wall between Mexico and the US to reduce illegal immigration and having Mexico pay for it. Not happening.
Another?
"I"m going to enforce all lors concerning the protection of classified information. We can't have someone in the oval office who doesn't understand the meaning of confidential or classified"

Anyway... there's a new video about it.

(Some people from New York mispronounce laws as lors, about the same way they pronounce caulking as corking or soffer in place of sofa)

The Land of a Thousand Smiles

A month after my flights back to Malaysia was booked, I lamented to Art how nice it would be if my best friends ( 2 sisters ) could come along with me and my daughter to Bangkok when I pay homage to Lord Brahma or Phra Phrom as known in Thailand, he replied, “Why don’t you bring them with you? I’ll pay for their expenses as well. All expenses, except shopping!”

I quickly informed my friends before he changed his mind! Lol! There were so many arrangements to be made and thankfully my daughter was on hand to help me out.

Less than 5 days after arriving in Malaysia from the US, still not recovered from the jet-lag, I traveled to Bangkok. I have always liked Thailand and her people.

Nearly bought this rubber monitor lizard for Art coz he has this fixation on this reptile after he first laid eyes on one of them ( a real one! ) when he traveled to Bangkok with me in 2017.

This was the real reason we were there that night. Scantily-clad men servers! Every hourly, for about 10 mins, they would go around and performed lewd acts on the patrons/diners rolling on the floor laughing

These are screenshots I took from my video reel. Our table was a hotspot because it was right in the middle!

After our lunch, we headed to Big C where you shop for Thai snacks, souvenirs and other quirky stuff like phalllc-shaped soap bar grin

I can get these at our local Asian Market here in Omaha but I got a few packets for Art’s great-grandnephew anyhow.

Junk aka ONE way out...

Living in a 55 and older community only has some benefits and a longer list of 'not so good' things. Last week, the paramedics were in front of one of the units around the corner from me. This morning while doing my walk, I see a pile of things next to the dumpster. Crutches, a few different walkers, a shower bench to name a few. My guess is the person from last week didn't make it and the apartment is being cleared and prepared for sale.

Sadly, this happens often in retirement communities. A friend once said "There's only one way out!"

One thing that caught my attention in the pile of junk... a vertical flat screen TV with a floor base. My guess is it was used in retail advertisement. Very cool and I was hesitant to run back, get my car and bring it to my condo. Groan... not one more thing. So, I passed it by.

Actually, if there's something I'd like to get my hands on is a reel-to-reel tape recorder. I've got lots of rock band rehearsal and concert tapes I'd like to transfer to a digital format.
There are places that do it for a fee... thanks I'll keep looking.

One man's junk is another man's treasure.

New Car...

While it would be nice to purchase a new car, I'm not prepared to have payments for the next 4-5 years. My current car is 'growing old' quickly with all the miles I'm driving. Several coworkers have purchased pre-owned vehicles from 'off lease only' saving thousands on low mileage cars that are still under manufacturers warranty.
I believe the answer is really to keep the car and rent/sell my current house and rent/purchase something much closer to my job.

Little by little, we've been in renovation mode fixing things around the house getting it ready to carry out a plan. I'm teetering about saving money (for a purchase) or spending money in renovation that could increase the current value.

It's summer and rent prices are lowest right now. If I wait too long apartments in the area near my office will jump up as much as 50%

Soon, but not now.

Living a simple lifestyle and 2 hours less on the road 'driving to and from' means 2 hours more to enjoy life.
