Bret is predicted to be the first hurricane of the 2023 season...
Bret is currently a tropical storm in the Atlantic Ocean headed West and predicted to cross the Dominican Republic this weekend.Too soon to batten down the hatches, but it's advised to store water, canned foods, check the batteries on flashlights and get any safety gear ready for the storm that could possibly move into the Gulf of Mexico within a week from now.
Change the setting on your refrigerators to the coldest, fill a few bottles with water and keep in the freezer so you will have enough ice to keep perishables from going bad if you are without power.

I must be slacking... Sorry, I'll try to do better.
I like your tip about freezing bottles of water and I'll add it to my winter contingency plan.
I hope everyone stays safe on your side of the pond.
I believe all of that deserves a blog of it's own That would put you at 3 today!
