coz I sure as hell don't.It's so easy to be nasty, and quite difficult to say something nice.

Yes it is very old and in bad taste, or at least perceived as such nowadays.
But we all know bad taste jokes, whether we like them or not, and the hypocrisy is that we keep them to ourselves or within our close circle of family and friends.

Where does hypocrisy come into it?
True, we might know a bad joke, (personally I can rarely remember good jokes at the best of times, bad jokes would have little hope!)such as now, this one, because I heard it or read it somewhere. And yes,this is one joke I will keep to myself.
But I fail to see how that makes me, and others here, a hypocrit?
I would have thought Jan, that a person was to be commended for not repeating such jokes rather than be labelled a hypocrit.
