We all have priorities in life, some more important than others.

If you had to number these priorities in order what would they be?

Mine:
1) My children: Obviously they will come 1st in all aspects.
2) My health: Without being well i am unable to look after the above.
3) My family: My mother foremost...she is of ill health and she sits at the top of the ladder in priorities.
4) My friends.: i take this gift seriously...once a friend always a friend. no matter what happens.xxx
5) My home: How i live is important to me...i want my children to be comfortable in their home, hygiene is a big thing for me.
6) Money: Well lets be honest, we all need it...it is not a priority as such but more of a necessity.

1. My health; being dead or sick is no good to anyone.
2. My emotional wellbeing; ditto above.
3. My marriage; because it is very important to me.
4. My cat and dog; because they are pure individuals and never to be repeated..
5. My job; because it helps pay the bills.
6. My house; because it keeps me warm/cool and safe.

kids/family/friends/emotional and physical health

- The order can change depending on the circumstances and what is most needed at the time. Also, some of those priorities may be combined as well if they are inter-related and needed at the time.

True, but I still feel that my own health has to come first.

If I do not look after my OWN health as a priority, and die, then it would greatly harm all the other important things in my life, nothing else would matter anyway, would it?dunno bouquet

My number one priority is to breath in after I've breathed out.

The rest is a bonus.

I agree DodgeBabe! I see no problems with your priorites since they your own as you feel they are.
My order that I put up is not fixed in that specific order. Really depends on the situation. Fortunately, I am in great shape and usually happy, so that can wait most of the time since I can afford to skip a workout. I'm flexible and go with the flow. So if my kids really need me to be there or if we had something plan, I'm always there---even if I am not in the best mood. Being with my kids does lift my spirits If I happen to be out of balance---so I guess I would have to day that they definitely come first.

If you take in all that everyone has stated was thier priorities ...if any one of them was not in place then this would make me un-happy.....so if I am happy all is in place ......peace

As far as priorities goes, I've been told by my Dad/Family that its about time that Jeff put Jeff first for a change. I'm trying to give it a go. Although its not easy for me to be selfish about me.

My daughter comes before anything, including my health.

I've got a new job starting in september (10k a year more, yippee !)
I remortgaged to pay the ex out so now the house is all mine again(it wasn't selling)
I took my daughter on holiday in july, just the 2 of us which was fantastic
In the process of re-decorating everything in the house (any tips on colours are more than welcome)
I'm about to stick my trusty old BMW in for a well earned service too

Thats my priorities at the minute.

Everything else can wait for a while
