No tats here. I personally don't like them, I find them a turn off in fact.
A desecration of natural beauty in my my opinion.

It is a fashion/fad that many will regret following later on in life I think.

Like it says in my profile "We are more than our skin." I don't mind them, but in moderation and if done well. These have been around since before recorded history......some like - some don't

I've got three..and all were done for me and have special meaning.

I don't mind if someone does or doesn't have them, I just draw the line at facial tattooing I think its a bit scary looking.

Hi Steve ... Q .... I can understand that having been in the army for so much of your life there would have been such a strong influence from others and to be part of the team that would lead to getting tatoos.

Had you never joined the army, do you think you would still have choosen to have tatoos ?

cheers

I think some tatoos can be amazing, but most are not so well thought out.

I think mostly they date. As I keep saying to my daughter, "You wouldn't want to wear the same clothes as you did when you were 12, what makes you think you're going to like the tatoos you have done now, when you're 25? (And I ain't signing any paperwork because she's under 18!)

I think temporary tatoos, the kind that fade after a few years are a good idea for young people.

Having said that, beauty is so much more than the outside of a person...I certainly would not be prejudice towards someone because I didn't like their tatoos!
