Some who are not prepared,or unable to adapt to what is exceptable now are left to find like minded partners who are comfortable with those old fashioned values and views.The rest of us have to find common ground and an understanding that needs communication and time to knit well together.
Rolls that work for one relationship does not always work in your next.
As for showing love? I believe that is much more deeply rooted in the individual and a couples ability to transmit love to each other and nothing to do with putting out the bins!
