memories of the boxing day tsunami fill my mind I remember being on the beach with my radio and hearing the reporter say that 12 people had lost thier lives and thinking man thats terrible a dozen people killed , ofcourse the tragedy blew out to quarter of a million souls lost ....like many I was numb for months
I pray its not the case for the japanese
Hi kizzy, yes, it's been a roller coaster of a 6mth period with Mother Nature! Just caught up on the latest details on the neighbour's TV. The reporter mentioned how people did not panic. The Japanese are so mentally prepared for such things. Still, it's so unfair. Too many innocents involved. Pity nothing happens to the likes of Gaddafi!
Seismologists predict a major earthquake for Adelaide this year. Part of the city sits directly on fault lines (Good one, Colonel Light ) including my parents' home and where I live. We've had various levels of quakes over the years, and as recently as late last year. Everyone seemed to have felt it except me. I live on a busy main road. I wasn't able to tell the difference!
