venusenvy: I love a southern accent they are so velvety on the ear
I just could not picture it being called velvety but thank you If I concentrate real hard when I talk I can hide my accent. But I relax and it will roll right off my tongue Do you have an accent?
Happygolucky4u: I did not know you were a scouser. Talk for me
I have a ugly accent Southern
I am and proud of it, but I lived the second half of my life in the South of England in my mum´s birthplace, and my slightly posh grammar school in Liverpool had already hammered out my Northern accent, so I sound like a typical middle England BBC voice, not very distinctive I´m afraid, but clear! I do voice-overs for a recording studio here in Spain because my accent is very "English".
If I get a tad angry though, my Northern roots and flat vowels are noticeable.
