DUBLINGUY1973: We'll see

If we don't get Sneijder, either Modric or Adam will do. I'm not fussy. I was surprised Chelsea bid for Modric though. I'm not sure he would play that much unless Lampard or Essien are injured.

Chelsea would bid for anyoneroll eyes

great times ahead

good to have a bit of football banter back thoughcheers

unouwantme2: thats my point with adam, i dunno is he a top 4 player

He's not the finished article yet but as someone said earlier, playing with better players will help him improve though. He may not be a top player now but he has the makings of one.

DUBLINGUY1973: A lot of people say that but i disagree. He does usually take a few games of the season to hit form and the season just gone, he did take longer than usual but i thought he played well in the last few games.
ah i have seen him against e so called better teams and the game passes him buy thumbs up

vinny1967: He will probably be brilliant at Liverpool so

Says the Arsenal fan.laugh I think Liverpool will finish comfortably inside the top 4 next season, possibly 2nd or 3rd. I reckon Arsenal are in a bad way at the mo. 5th place I'd say.

Ah I couldn't help myself after he said top four laugh

Hard to tell Scribs to be honest. If Wenger doesnt make a couple of serious signings we could be in for a fight to make 5th to be honest. However a couple of signings could lead them to the holy grail. A long summer ahead thumbs up

You could be right about Arsenal especially if they don't get some decent defenders in and a decent goalkeeper but i can't see Liverpool finshing in the top three. Fourth i can see alright but It will be tough to edge Chelsea and Man City from second and third.

Personally I think Liverpool are guaranteed nothing and will have to fight a lot of strong temas for 2nd or 3rd. I think Utd and Chelsea will be in the top four.......after that with City, Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool. I dont think Spurs can win the title yet but the others could IMO. Gonna be difficult though.
cheers

All depends on who we buy to replace Scholes and Van Der Sar but i think we have a very good chance of getting our 20th title next season grin

I think this is going to be a mad season, Liverpool are a team in reform and nobody, including myself, knows if it's going to work out for the best...............but i have every faith in King Kenny peace

The SCUM are going to be getting a whole new midfield with Scholes, O' Shea and Gibson leaving and they're getting a new keeper too, that's always interesting.

Arsenal NEED players BADLY!! they could lose Nasri, Cliche and Fabregas too.

Chelski haven't even got a manager yet and their squad is getting old.

I think Citeh have the best squad in the league and are the ones to watch next season, they got a taste of silverware and will go on to win more now i reckonconversing

I'm not so sure O'Shea will be leaving unless he requests a transfer because he is very versatile and a handy squad player to have. Gibson and Brown may go though. As for United not (As Vinny said earlier) being the poorest team Alex has ever assembled. I don't think they are a bad team or they wouldn't have won the league. They do need to improve though (particularly in midfield) because i know other teams will. The new signings will have to be crucial.

As for Liverpool, i can see them making a major improvement and i think they will finish in the top four at the expense of Arsenal and Spurs.

City do have a good squad but they haven't really gelled as a team yet in my opinion. They have some good individual players but I'm not so sure about the team spirit. Tevez could be on the way out and if he does, that will leave a big gap. Balotelli is like a petulant child with his antics and Dzeko has yet to hit the form he did in Germany. I expect City to finish third again though. Maybe even second if they keep Tevez, Balotelli shows more maturity and Dzeko hits form.

Spurs had one flukey 4th place the season before last and suddenly people consider themselves contenders, they're not. We threw away 5th last season and let them in, that won't happen next season. Whatever about their players, they are the most overrated team in the league, all because the media love 'Arry. The best they can hope for is 6th.

LiamMG: City and Pool will win nothing

Yeah okay. I remember United fans telling me
1. "You can spend what you like but you won't finish top 4"
2. "You can spend what you like but you won't win a trophy"

So i'm inclined to not listen to people who have a biased opinion on football anymorethumbs up

There's lot's of teams who won't win anything but you had to say Liverpool and City, why? Because you're a typical biased United fanroll eyes

19 titles or no 19 titles you'll always be in Liverpools shadowthumbs up

And Manchester City are on the rise now, it's not all about Manchester United anymore. thumbs up

tick tock wink
