I hope so. I think if he can put his injury problems behind him, he could still do a good job for the Baggies. He has been very unfortunate with injuries in the last 2-3 years. Not unlike Gary Neville and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. I always liked Hargreaves and i would love to see him do well thumbs up

Wesley Sneijder has warned his potential suitors that he will only leave Inter Milan this summer if the club decide to sell him. "My wife Yolanthe and I love Inter, the Italian fans and Italy. "Of course, if the club decided to sell me, I will go wherever they tell me to go. But I would be disappointed. But football is like that. When I was sold from Real Madrid to Inter, I would have preferred to have remained in Spain. "Whatever will be, will be.

"Fergie has ruled out signing Samri Nasri saying "No, I don't think he's coming to United. I think he's agreed to go elsewhere." This will no doubt spark rumours he is only his way to City instead.

Speaking of City, apparently Brazilian giants Corinthians have made a €40m bid for Carlos Tevez. It initially seemed a fanciful prospect that Tevez would be able to move to South America, as no club was believed to have the financial clout to sign him from City. However the offer from the Sao Paulo club may interest them. It would mean 27-year-old Tevez joining a team who are not their rivals in any competition, and he would be rejoining the club he played for from 2004 to 2006, before making a controversial move to West Ham.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have increased their bid for Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric to £27million.

Be great if the Tevez deal works out for all concerned. Perhaps a sell on clause would be an idea considering Levante are set to make 1,000 per cent profit on former Manchester City star Felipe Caicedo – just a month after signing him from the Blues. The striker, who was bought from Basel for £5.2m in January 2008, seemed to be heading for oblivion after falling out of the reckoning at City.

He was loaned out to Levante last season, with a one million euros fee agreed should the Spanish side want to keep him. But Caicedo’s career was re-born at Levante as he scored a club record 14 goals in 29 games to stave off relegation.

The deal stood, however and Levante paid the agreed fee and instantly suggested the bidding would begin at ten million euros.

DUBLINGUY1973: Calm down!! Calm down!! (said in my best scouse accent)

Fergie was asked if Nasri was going to United and he said "No, i don't think he's coming to United. I think he's agreed to go elsewhere".

He made a statement. Discussing it would be speculating where he's going to go. Wouldn't it be worse if he came out and said "we're interested and want to sign him".

To be honest, I don't think its any worse than what Kenny Daglish said about Charlie Adam in January. He's a liverpool now but he wasn't back then. Daglish admitted at the time Liverpool are interested and want to sign him. He was talking about a player that was contracted to another club at the time. How is that any worse?

What is scum according to Liverpool fans and Man City fans?

Teams that have won more trophies than them? confused

As for Fergie, why would he bother starting speculation about where Nasri is going? I very much doubt he cares where he is going if he isn't going to United.

Do you really think the man has that much time on his hands? roll eyes laugh

Well no, Liverpool and you are more or less level on trophies, but they're not scum. So it has nothing to do with your successthumbs up

My apologies, Mr. Objective rolling on the floor laughing

I'm sorry but i still don't see how that story proves any difference between what Kenny Daglish said in January about Charlie Adam and what Fergie said about Nasri. The only difference is Fergie is talking about Nasri after the fact i.e. after he is pretty sure he is not going to join United.

Pot...kettle....black roll eyes

Lets assume United are still in for Nasri and Fergie is talking abouth im now. If they eventually get him, does that make it okay?

As far as i'm aware (although i could be wrong) its not against the rules to talk about a player that is contracted to another club.

Is it inethical? Yes.

Is it against FA rules? No.

Its only against the rules to talk DIRECTLY to that player while he is contracted to another club without getting his club's permission.

If that is the case then Daglish is just as guilty as Fergie.

Slightly off topic but, in the same week that City have announced their £400 Million deal with Etihad Airways and plans to regenerate the surrounding area, build the Etihad Campus and create thousands of jobs, the Rags announce even bigger news with regeneration plans of their own.

They are going to have Lou Macari's chippy re-painted. laugh
