I hear a lot about women wanting "sensitive and caring" men and I know exactly what you mean. But sometimes I think we are steadily emasculating our men. A man should be a man, otherwise I might as well live with a woman. Rough hands, strong shoulders, not too much interest in your period pains, no interest in your best friend's marital problems. I've seen men choosing crockery and curtains with their women. Really? Let men be men - let them piss in the yard and get drunk and go to the occassional strip club. A man will never fully understand your hormones and issues - as long as he gives you a pain pill and a cup of tea, get whatever else you need from your girl friends, sisters, daughters, mothers.

A man can always be a man, doesnt stop him being sensitive and caring, what you describe is someone henpecked. But understand your way of thinking, but a real man would be strong yet still concerning and sensitive to others feelings.
moodyblues: Sometimes its preferable to the endless talk about feelings and issues.
Last year i watched a tv programme about seemingly role reversals..it seems the gals have stared to behave like the guys, drinking, shouting, threatening and going round in gangs, the guy's stand back and watch the gals and say nothing,i notice this behaviour in the school nowadays, there seems to be more gal gangs than guy gangs, some guys getting bullied by the gals and they are genuinley frightened..
