As long as she's not suffering she has quality of life and she does on your farm with all the animals lucky girl she a happy dog.

Faithe: Some good news my beautifull boy Josh is starting to do a bit better, it looks like he actualy had a small stroke. He is gradually getting stronger and hasnt taken any pain meds since yesterday morning and doesnt appear to be in any pain He is such a gentle soul and l love him so much.

The morning ritual here is a coffee, followed by the little fella, right on cue, toddling out to find me with an expectant look in his eyes.
So dutifully I throw on some warm gear, grab his lead and off we go.
Twenty minutes or so later we return, he usually has a bite to eat while I hit the shower and get ready for work.
I take a peep at him and he's back in bed, happy as, while I take off out the door for another day at the coalface

Dont our four legged friends have it good, this morning my Tina sat at my feet waiting to clean up what she expected me to leave of my cereal and she then demanded her share of my coffee as usual

That is wonderful news Faithe need something to cheer me up because of this thread I read the posts... cry my eyes out... type through my tears ...then have to leave CS as so upset as everyone is so bloody caring on here.
Come to think of it cant think of more genuine group of people than you lot.
