Scubadiva: If only they did. The problem with the different interpretations arises via the hadiths. That's where all the problems are. The Koran itself is pretty straight forward and the reason why they study it in arabic is so that the meaning doesn't get distorted by translation. That is actually a pretty good idea, but translation cannot be avoided unless one is a native arabic speaker. eh voila.. there it is (as frederic the great used to say )

As for Atheism it is very simple, it is the disbelief of any single or plural supreme being/beings. That's it. to add how they would think this way about creation,,or even the way they eat their food is completely irrelevant.

It is easy to get confused about our existence....you cant prove that God does exist, but you can not prove that he does not exist.
Hmm.....religion belive in some sorts of God....Christianity think the son of God walked amongs us and shall do so one day again...thats what is an accepted belife. Yet if i said im the son of God then People would not want to belive it, because it cant be true in their mind. The poor Son of God would never have a chance if he came to earth in modern time today. They would throw him in a mental institution and he would never walk amongst us thanks our rules of our society.
if you break down everything in to carbon and hydrogen then you are still left with the question of their origion...where do they come from.
Did they come from nothing? Nothing cant come from Nothing but Something have to come from Something
Or is Nothing Something?
How do we prove that a soul exist? It is not made from carbon and hydrogens and other fysical material. How do you prove it does exist?
At one stage i did not exist, but Yet here I am, so it stand to reason that the day i die i might exist again.....lol..
I feel im so much more than corbons and Hydrogens because i love, laugh, Cry and feel anger. or are they just chemical responses in my body to ensure genetic survival. I would like to think i have a meaningful existance so i can justify my existence and life. Yet i find it very Strange that God did not made sure that i came in to this world with a usermanual stating my purpose.
The day i die I will find out if God exist. I am not afraid because If god exist i know She will have a wicked sence of humor. If she exist, she is not to be feard, only manmade objects proclaim that God is to be feard to ensure that we behave and pay our taxes and feel guilty for enjoying all the things that makes life worth living.
lol....now im unsure of what exist....Descart said that "I think therefor i am".....however after writing in this post im not even sure i exist. Am i just someone elses dream?.......lol..but the question remains; Who is the Dreamer?

mak_uits: the atheist people tries to describe the creation of this earth and all the living beings as a natural process. they take the support from the theories of Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking. first of all they don't know the difference between law and theories, may be. theories are nothing but some ideas with facts that could not be physically proved. theories changes in time. if the creation of this earth was natural process, how the life of the animals initiated? natural processes are chemical reactions, cell divisions and formations if i summarize. but these can't create a human mind. when the embryo develops inside the womb of a mother, the first four months is for cell developments, formation of bones and flash. and after four months suddenly it starts moving. it proves the existence of God. our body is nothing but carbohydrate compounds. if we could divide it to molecular level these are simply Hydrogen, carbon and others. when a person dies normally everything remain as it was, only the spirit goes back to God. its not a chemical reaction or anything that could be proved by a equation or physics or anything. its something beyond science, beyond human being, its the power of God.

The fact that no one knows what there was before the Big Bang or what the Universe might be expanding "in", or that man cannot create a mind, proves only one thing, that there is a great mystery to it all. That mystery that Einstein talked about. He also said that "those who cannot see the mystery, the source of all true art and science, are truly blind".
Yes there is the mystery,, not some man keeping inventory on us,,, no happy family,,, no heaven or hell after life,, no pious looking lambs and lions rubbing against each other. No 17 virgins waiting to be deflowered by martyrs.
Science at least has been uncovering the truths in this mystery, even though there are some of those who would make a religion of science.
Religion has done nothing but intimidate, threaten, concocted and promote the worst of nonsense under the threat of eternal and immediate torture, unless you toe the line as it dictates.

I was seething as the thread poster had been totally disrespectful to me and others ... and I had pretty much kept my cool ...
Later, I had a good read of the thread again and noticed some patterns... the one that stood out the most (apart from the obvious that the OP had managed to reel me - and a few others- in) was the fact that we made comments between several of us ABOUT the OP. And I think that therein lays the persception of ganging up on someone!!
Now if I see a thread is going round in circles, I leave the thread.

Gives me a headache dude. Why is it that you religious characters and the atheists just can't come to understand that God made the universe and that entails all the scientific naturally occurring events based on the physics we are just beginning to understand?
God creates worlds, beings, life. He doesn't write books or make you tube vids in his mothers basement. Humans do that for him. And, they are flawed as they have free will so you can base your beliefs on a book or on science but one thing is for sure and that is that some force created it all.
