Please quit apologizing for your beliefs folks. There is no need to keep emphasizing that it is your opinion,,,, I KNOW THAT. And I am not offended by it. And you may quote scripture all you want.
I don't consider what someone said that someone else said as proof of anything. Then again I might see some truth in it.
I am not a bible scholar so I would be interested in what you think the bible says about what God has in store for me for not going along with what the bible says that He said about the sabbath.
As far as the catholic church being satan's tool goes, wasn't it the dragon (the devil) who gave power to the beast (the catholic church that great accuser and deceiver) to rule mankind for 1250 years after which it received a mortal wound in it's head, the reformation? Somewhere in Revelations I think. I take it a step further, I think all of religion is that tool. And the bible may also be a part of that. I also think God and Satan are one and same. You might say that satan has been God's best friend for he kept him in business all these years.
I can't answer what God has in store for you. I can say that he is very irritated that people aren't keeping the sabbaths and holy days which he established. I can also say that after the return of Christ, people of all nations will keep the sabbaths and holy days, and will even offer sacrifices to God. Yes, that's right. It never fails to amaze me how so many Christians quote the bible out of context and ignore what they don't want to hear. You've heard Christians use the phrase "a house of prayer for all nations" or "a church for all nations." Well, this is where that comes from:
Isaiah 56:6-7
6 “Also the sons of the foreigner
Who join themselves to the Lord, to serve Him,
And to love the name of the Lord, to be His servants—
Everyone who keeps from defiling the Sabbath,
And holds fast My covenant—
7 Even them I will bring to My holy mountain,
And make them joyful in My house of prayer.
Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices
Will be accepted on My altar;
For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.”
In the very same verse, which is prophetic, myriads of Christians quote, "For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations,” but will turn around in the next breath and tell you that burnt offerings and sacrifices have been abolished. They have fits when told that Jesus will bring sacrifices back during the millenium, yet both things are in the same verse in the bible.
Quoting out of context is so confusing and deceitful.
