chancer_mcgancer: Bale when he's like this is unplayable. ridiculous bend on that free kick. and amazing run to assist their first goal. thought we should have got a penalty with Stevie G though. creating chances but need that bit of luck! come on the 'pool!
Its like saying you under estimate Newcastle or Fulham...they are a mid table side with mid table players and they play in a mid table stadium on a mid table budget.

Im a Liverpool fan and I think they are much worse than a mid table team

No they are not a bottom of the table side yet. They will get 7th or 8th I reckon. If the owners dont do something they will end up botom of the table in a few years tough.
PurpleZebra: I agree there... but we cannot drop much lower in the table without been in the bottom 5... and that flirts with relegation (Again) I cant see them paying much either.... But, 500m is needed LOL
They wont have the spending power of City, Chelsea, United or even Arsenal until they get a new stadium and start playing in the CL again. But thats not a given...they are way down the pecking order at the moment and dont look like they will be rising any time soon.
PurpleZebra: If reports in the media are to be believed Rodgers will not get too much money in the Jan transfer window
have patience. it's a work in progress. i'll be happy enough if we get a couple of decent names in the window. no need to spend crazy - just strengthen in a couple of positions. we're on the right track - was never gonna be a quick fix
chancer_mcgancer: we'll see what happens. a couple of loan deals might be an option. could do worse than get Darren Bent on loan as backup for Suarez
he cant get in the villa tam and they are playing with kids ,my mates (villa cronies)reckon he is the biggest waste of space be glad to see the back of him

ah yeah but i think he fell out with the boss long ago. anyway i think we could do worse as a short term option, more backup than anything else

Perfect example of mediocre players...he failed at Spurs, Sunderlad he was ok and now failed at Villa..that's not the player i'd be looking for, it proves that hes a mid table player and now going to a mid table team

between Sunderland and Villa he has an average of a goal every two games. 20 from 47 at Villa i wouldn't exactly call a fail... anyway like i said i'm more thinking just as backup - because like you said it will be very hard to get players in Jan with the money we have. if Suarez got injured/(banned) i'd rather have Bent than Borini (who's injured at the moment anyway)
chancer_mcgancer: Huntelaar would be class. Anyway i only mentioned Bentinho because i heard rumours about a loan deal... another option is Ba (7m release clause) though i'm not sure he'd suit our faster pace of play. i'd love to get Walcott i think he's turned into a class player and we need another winger, here's hoping he doesn't sign a new contract for Arsenal and we nab him on a free
Walcott want's to play down the middle and i'd happily have him instead of Bent...supposedly Arsenal are in for Huntelaar so that might mean Walcott is on the way out??

there's actually talk of them going for Zaha (same position as Walcott), Walcott might re-sign but then again you know their recent record of losing high profile players... I'd happily take him (think he could be good down the middle, like he wants), we'll know more come January, he could even end up going abroad...
