sofarsogood74: Personally I hope he lines up like this for most games next year. I think that team can beat anyone.De Gea

Jones
Ferdinand
Vidic
Evra

Nani
Fletcher
Kagawa
Valencia

Rooney
Van PersieSubs
Lindegaard
Scholes
Giggs
Welbeck
Hernandez
Carrick
Cleverly
Young
Anderson
Da Silva
Berbatov

Midfield is weak. Nani is not a fella you want going into a battle. Fletcher is not good enough. Kagawa is unproven. Valencia the only consistently good player there.
Toure, Nasri, Silva, Barry, Milner will have way too much strength and skill for that United midfield. United need two midfielders. Their bids for Moura and Hazard needed to be successful.

As a life long Liverpool fan it upsets me to see how strong that utd squad looks but credit were credit is due ferguson pulls out anothr corker of a signing.

I am dreading another season of disapointment from my club.

Arsenal won't challenge for the title but they have pulled off a serious coup signing Santi Cazorla. What a player!

Strangely I think it will be Roberto Mancini's toughest year yet. It was one thing attaining our goal in the first flush of a new regime, it will be quite another maintaining that standard. Be nice to show we will not be a one trick pony like Blackburn. If we win the title this year we'll be hard to catch in the future. Real success in the CL (SF or better) can wait for another year for me. Would love another good domestic cup run too. Was at Villa Park last Sunday and despite the score I thought we out played Chelsea and Tevez looks like he has been let out of a cage. Last seasons finale I doubt will ever be repeated. An improvement on last season will represent a successful season.

shyjim75: As Long as Spurs finish around 5th or higher I am happy. I think the Jury is out on AVB. He wasn't given time at Cheski. Man City it will be a interesting season for them.
Man Utd will be hard to beat this year and if they sign RVP (which i think they will )all bets will be off.
The Gooners will finish around Mid table with any sort of luck.
Its going to be another Roller Coaster for Spurs this season after todays performance but we'll keep the faith COYS

Yea I know we have it will be a tough match, AVB im unsure about but Harry did himself no favours with the england job and had taken us as far as he could, AVB likes to play the high defensive line which I dont think we have the Defenders to implement that it will be a long season doh Great win for the Baggies thumbs up

Alex Song to Barcelona for £15 million and probably Nuri Sahin to Arsenal on loan with a view to permanent deal.
Another great deal! Pity they couldn't have kept Van Persie! They would have seriously challenged this year!

robpacciani: Fully agree with all of that.
Let's not forget, City beat an injury-stricken depleted United team only on goal difference last year. Fletcher, Anderson, Vidic, Kagawa and RVP all as good as brand new signings.

Nani is a class act. Have a look at his goals and assists ratio, up there with the best. Now if you want to criticise a winger, please refer to Stewart Downing.

While Fergie has rotated players over the last few years there was always a near certainty about the starting 11 for big games. What would you imagine the shape and players will be in the top 11 this year??

For me, the strongest team he could have is....

De Gea

Jones Ferdinand Vidic Evra

Carrick

Valencia Nani

Kagawa

Van Persie Rooney

Don't worry, both will be regulars.
Tonight, Carrick is going to have to play centre back! Not ideal! blues
Not only that, but Vidic may not last the full 90, first game back.

Reports that Kaka might be going to Man. Utd on a season long loan! Same wages as Rooney and Van Persie -£250,000 per week.
I'm not sure what to make of this one.

don't think it's going to happen, it's just a rumour started on

twitter by agent 153dunno . Seems unlikely it will happen.

£12 million in wages for what in my mind is a player passed his peak! Seems unlikely to me that Ferguson would sanction them wages in this situation either.
