It may have something to do with a number of managers turning down the job when it was offered and the board realising that Rogers was the best they could get.

He is right though. They know he's there till the end of the season. Plastic fans haven't a clue how clubs are run, they should blame their precious owner, he does the hiring and firing, he sacked their favorite manager since Mourinho, it's not Benitez's fault he got the job and blaming him just proves that they really don't have a clue about football...but we all knew that already!!

He should have just sucked it up though. If you work in football you will get stick from time to time. But they are very well paid for it. It came across as a bit of a whinge as far as I was concerned. A bit like his whines about Fergie in the past.
On a better note....Ryan Giigs has signed a year long contract to keep him at the club until June 2014!

Coutinho was an absolute steal!! Van Persie started the season well but no doubt Suarez is the best striker in the Premiership at the moment!

Coutinho is UNREAL, watched the Pool game, he adds so much flare to the team, a great addition. Suarez is a fantastic striker. Bale will still get player of the year though
