United should have been 3 up at half time. Liverpool were better in the 2nd half but when U nited got the second goal they stopped playing for some reason. Don't know why.

And I don't think even Liverpool fans can blame the ref on this one...From were I was sat it looked like Liverpool got the majority of his decisions...can't believe he did not give a Penalty for the push on Kawaga in the first half.....then Liverpool play on with their keeper on the ground and he is fine with it but stops play for the keeper when United win back possession!laugh

haha. no surprise you didn't mention Vidic being offside for the goal that ultimately won you the game wink there was some strange referreeing decisions alright, but even the two United fans i was watching the match with didn't think it was a peno on Kagawa! Anyway i'm just disappointed with the way we approached the match in the end, unacceptable really, we could have nicked something in the end, but you can't excuse the way we played for 55 odd minutes, 2-0 down is always gonna be an uphill struggle!

laugh

Well then the two people with you know nothing about football. Kawaga was pushed in the back off the ball. He was going to make contact with the ball until he was pushed. The defender made no attempt to play the ball and only played the man. It was also a denial of a goal scoring oppertunity. grin

Plus why only stop the game when United got possession afterwards? If Reina was so badly injured why did the ref allow Liverpool to play on?dunno And Valencia was rugby tackled at the end of the game which should have been a secon yellow and the ref ignored that too. laugh

sofarsogood74: I know, I was just making the point that the ref cant be blamed. Plus you can only play advantage after a foul...Reina wasn't fouled in the play....Kawaga....there was no fould at all on a Liverpool players so advantage rule doesn't count.

But as you say there is no point talking about the ref. United bossed the game dor 60 mins and then took foot off the gas. The stadium was nervous at the end cause Liverpool could have nicked a point. Undeserved point but they would have not care.

I don't think he was fouled by Reina, the ball was there to be won and it was a nasty collision, there's no point in stopping the play when Liverpool have the ball and it's different when there's a keeper down injured...i thought Webb had a good game in fairness

We could of nicked a point if Sturridge didn't go for glory and laid it on for Suarez, I agree about Allen he may have been a big fish at Swansea, but he looks like a fish out of water at Anfield.

Wow. didn't see that coming. he'd even said himself the PL is somewhere he'd like to manage. not convinced yet he'll be a success their though. playing and managing nearly all his life in the Barcelona culture and way of play, be interesting to see how he adapts to Bayern and the players they have there and their way of playing

The man is a magician and is going to succeed no matter where he goes, what he done at Barcelona was incredible, the players he shipped out in his first season and then winning the treble including the Champions League was amazing...he kept that form going too and if anyone wasn't pulling their weight then they were gone...he has a super football brain and a great winning mentality, he's only been managing 5 (with a year off) years and has already won 15 trophies, 14 at the highest level...

Bayern have a quality squad and he's obviously going to add to it and only make it better...there's a reason Abramovich is getting sick over his yacht at this very moment and that's because he's the best manager around at the moment!!

Spurs fully deserved their point. They could have got 3 and I would not have been able to complain. All in all it was a good away point for United.

City will drops points too between now and the end of the season. 5 Points is still a good lead and its not Squeky Bum time yet. One great thing us United have played all top 7 teams away now bar Arsenal. City still have to travel to many of them.laugh
