They have no understanding regarding the importance ancient monuments have on understanding our heritage. Given back to the greeks and within a year they would have been sold to a private collector and a politician would have a new house, car and wife.
All i know is. Henry Moore,didn't visit "Stonehenge" or any other ancient British sculptures, as wasn't any,but the British Museum as well a visit to the Parthenon in Athens,in 1951, to enrich his knowledge,especially reclining,from the ancient Greeks,in which he became famous for.
