They're buried their dreams just for something, you know "something" is. They're buried their dreams because a job. "Civil Servant" is the most popular profession in my country. They're proud if they have a civil servant status. I think is very dangerous.

You are never 'supposed' to be married.
Marriage is a lifestyle choice.
And a choice you should make on different criteria apart from age..
I agree many people do get married around that age. It is probably the optimal age when taking in such factors as mortgages, children, job, etc.
But many also get divorced by the time they are 40/50...
Get married if, and when, you are ready..not by numbers.

I think the opinions of Indonesian locals will represent one extreme answer to this question and the Peter Pans(terminal adolescents)which infest the online Neverland represent the other.
Anyway, in my opinion 30 seems a reasonable age for a woman to be married if she plans to avoid reproductive failure and obtain any chance of long-term commitment from a man of reasonable value. The younger a woman marries the less settling she will have to do and the healthier her kids will be(ON AVERAGE). Men can probably leave it a little longer because of the enduring health of his balls and the fact that he will probably age better and his looks matter less anyway.

Times have changed. I don't think people are looked upon in a negative way if they aren't married early, as much as they used to be.
One should marry if/when they feel it's right.
I married at 20 & though it ended in divorce after 30 years, I have no regrets.

The average range getting married has gone up in the west. Now i think is in the range of 28-35.for the ladies and up to 40 for the men.JMO.

You are right....my youngest daughter is getting married in September, and she is 24. Good Lord, when I was 24, I had been married for 4 years and had 3 kids!!

Someones age shouldn't matter when they get married.I had some friends one time when I was in my 30's of why I wasn't married yet.I told them I wanted to wait until I was ready to get married.I didn't marry my late husband until I was 32 and we were married for 25 yrs up until 07.

I did it all Tru...couldn't afford a maid!! I did the laundry, cooking, cleaning, groceries, housework & nurturing, all the while working full time.....and a hot, homemade meal on the table almost every night!
