Hi Serene!
Food is very important to me and I tend to the humble-home-cuisine, Mexican first of course and also Italian mostly but I will cook and try any cuisine.
Quality over quantity.
Time to enjoy it.
With good company is better.
Today I had brunch with a couple of friends in my place.
Menu
-Enchiladas Huastecas
(beaten eggs with a roasted tomatoes and chile sauce and the tortillas dipped in it)
-Cecina (sheets of beef meat cured with wild orange and salt)
-Pork skin in green sauce with cilantro.
-Guacamole
-Grape juice (home made)
-Tender corn Cake (one of my friends brought it).

Being a vegetarian, I have never tried/tasted any meat or seafood in my whole life. Many people are surprised to hear this. Even being a vegetarian, I have ample varieties and many more, I am yet to taste. Therefore not complaining here. Also, I cook my meals at home, fresh and healthy.
At the end of the day, nothing satisfies me better than even the simplest home cooked food. Rice & Dal. :).

I cook for myself most evenings. I use fresh local veg, organic where possible.
I eat lots of fish, not so much meat.
Last night, I was out to dinner. We went to an organic restaurant. They grow all their fruit and veg in the garden. I had hake with veg and side salad. Delicious.
