I hear what you are saying, but I don't see it as arrogance. I try to put myself in others' shoes--he dodged a bullet, literally, and is understandably expressive about being alive. If his beliefs in some way help him through this, what difference is it to you, or any of us? I myself have had a number of near-misses, traffic, hiking, getting caught in deep water in the Pacific, etc... whether or not I am right in believing, is for my inner peace, and finding a purpose for being "spared" helps me define other areas of my life. The worst I get out of a near-miss is being in terror, the best is at least getting a bit more organized, and optimistic about being alive. Give the guy a break.------ This thread is Archived ------
