For short flights of known destination & when I don't have checked language: isle. I want to be out asap, and not bother someone if I want to go to the restroom or so.

For long time: window. I am sure I am going to sleep. I am going to put a pillow on the side & I don't want anyone to bother me. There is also a bigger chance for amazing views when you travel to new destinations.

Prefer an aisle seat, as I always feel I have more room for my long legs!

Also, I don't like the feeling of having 2 people between me and out. Purely psychological, but it works for me.

When booking with enough time yes people can choose seats but later it is whatever you find.

If the flight is short I would prefer a window, if the flight is long I would prefer isle so when going to the bathroom I do not have to rub people knees and they do not have to look at my “eyes”.

I've never flown so I have no idea but I would likely choose a window seat for my first flying experience. wave

WOT !! wow You've never been on an airplane. Do you know how many nuts in a little bag you've missed.

Last week a rich woman refused to stay on a plane when they gave her the nuts in a bag instead of on a plate. laugh

The first time I flew was on my honeymoon in 1962 to Hawaii in first class

It seemed that they were constantly feeding us. Back then the food was very good. I remember having eggs benedict grin

Many years after my divorce I was flying Peoples Express to Virginia for a rendezvous flirty and that's when they started serving a bag of nuts

I flew last November and didn't get any nuts sad

Have you ever had to board a plane when the attendant says to board by seat number starting with the back of the plane and the people with seats near the front of the plane ignore this instruction and stand up and crowd around the loading aisle and the people seated in the rear of the plane have to elbow their way through this mass of stunned humanity in order to board?

Get an aisle seat near an emergency exit.
thumbs up

Any pay extra close attention to how to make the oxygen bags release.

You may need extra oxygen when I'm sitting on next to your seat. grin
