utuber: I don't trust women w/ dogs..they only like them because they can be trained to be obedient,,just like a husband,,,,sometimes..
Then it's a good job so many women prefer cats. Or love those yappy little spoilt dogs which to all intents and purposes may as well be a cat. Either way, she's the one being owned.

If she/he gave the ultimatum, either the dog goes or me, would you give up your relationship for your dog?
doesn't like your dog..?
what's perfect about that?
sure, some folks may have allergies...but if you've already got a dog...perhaps meeting someone who doesn't have a problem with that may be one step closer to that perfection you seek...
having said that...good luck with that perfection thing...

There are a few ways to look at Stanley's question
Let's say a woman meets a man at a restaurant They enjoy the evening and meet again This time they spend a day doing something they both like
He invites her for dinner at his house The house is magnificent, so is his car She thinks he's the one
When they get to his house she meets his big black Newfoundland. If you don't know what kind of dog that is....a male can be as big as 150 pounds. I had one and he was a gorgeous dog.
Now she's thinking, this man is rich but he has a big dog that slobber runs out of his mouth all the time
She really wants a rich man
Will she give the man up because she doesn't like the dog or does she think after she gets under his skin she will convince him to get rid of the dog

As my to-be-my-ex-mother-in-law said to me once "The dog belongs to the family for years" And I was only recently married to her son… And not that I didn't like the dog, I am simply allergic to dogs and asked if he can stay outside the room for the meal... I would guess a lot of people would choose a dog.
But there is this nice man, whom I pointed out that I am allergic to dogs, who wrote me that for love he would find his dogs a nice new house :), so there are also people who would give up a dog. :)))

I would hope for that man's sake, and his dog, that he would see through her gold-digging mind before it was too late!
And to answer the OP, as I already did on the Irish forums - a big resounding No!
To help you make a decision with a difficult question like this, try locking both of them in the boot (trunk) of your car for a couple of hours. Then when you let them out...see which one still loves you.
